I wouldn't worry.

Capitalism won't escape this rock. Either we move past it or we all die. The aliens are safe.

I mean... the message isn't even hidden. It's literally about a dude fighting for the natives. That's the entire plot.

I thought it was about the true story of how the USA was built

I thought it was just blue Pocahontas

I thought it's a weird program of the Blue Men Group.

A documentary about the Blue Man Group home planet.

The planet is cute, but it shouldn't have eaten precious minerals

it's weird, in decades of gaming, before (and after) DRG i've never had a game that i actually felt guilty for going too long without playing and giving them usage stats

i think i'm one of like 10 people in the world who thought that movie was meh af

it reminded me of dances with wolves, which was also a snoozefest, not helped by moving everything to outer space

I guess you missed literally almost everyone when it came out saying “Looks amazing, but is just a longer Fern Gully in space.” I have never heard anyone call it good, excepting those who praised the legitimate achievement it was for visual effects.

Paid publicity and novelty of visual effects are the same as people saying something has artistic merit. Ya got me!

I actually enjoyed Dances with Wolves, but Avatar was Pocahontas in space. Pretty to look at, but not much below the surface.

I couldn't even finish the second one. It started out as a Movie, then turned into "save the whales" with extra silliness.
