Seems we share a braincell..

I've done the same thing, but I think I'm finally used to not opening RiF. I just miss a few bigger communities, but otherwise Lemmy has been a fine alternative. Hopefully it continues to grow!

Lemmy has replaced everything reddit was for me, so I just deleted the app

I just deleted reddit app and redreader since my sub is participating in the black out. Well be in here full time. I just hope Kenny doesn't become that place where everyone came over then officially moved to reddit app. This place is growing and give it some time and it will be bigger then reddit

I anticipated this and deleted my (3rd party) app icon on the 11th. Just migrated here today. This definitely fills the void for me. I'll only miss a select few subreddits.

I've actually been really happy with my experience on Lemmy so far, all things considered. I don't think I even miss Reddit that much, though I can't speak for others.

I swore to myself I wouldn't go there during the blackout, and that I would use that time to get better acquainted with Lemmy, kbin and squabbles.

But fuck if I'm not dying to go there and see what's happening. If the Revenge of the Admins has already begun or what.

I uninstall the app yesterday , I feel sad that reddit has becoming this shitty app it was a great experience since I join like 4 years ago butthanksg god we have lemmy now!

biggest headache for me is waiting for lemmy to load! nothing more aggravating than drip feed internet

oh and for some reason it works on my desktop in safari but not my laptop in safari. whattt

I ditched Reddit a few weeks ago for other reasons (I am going full FOSS/decentralised services). My Reddit account was 11 years old, I don't miss it at all.

I swear I've opened Reddit at least 4 times just out of habit before remembering.

I believe in you. We can do it.
