If I didn't care about Zuck (or any large corp) having my info, I wouldnt be on the fediverse in the first place I'd be on one of their giant social media sites.
Federating with Threads just defeats the entire point.
Even if you think "it's not that bad", it's incredibly naive to not realize shit will get worse once people are using it. It's happened to literally every social media site for decades now
