Now that RedHat shut down their security mailing list, are there any good alternatives? It's super useful seeing the various exploits and patches to be able to be alerted to anything relevant you should take care of immediately.

If you have any recommendations for adjacent security topics (outside of Linux), those are welcome too.

Why don't you go to the official CVE channel instead at cve.org?

Otherwise, major distros usually have some sort of tracker, which is especially useful to see if a vulnerability in the upstream has been addressed. I know this exist for Gentoo, Debian, Ubuntu, and OpenSUSE. May need to check for other distros. If you're looking for correspondencies in this regard, they probably have their security mailing list.

I think most of them have switched to matrix/other more modern alternatives
