From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Linux is a family of open source Unix-like operating systems based on the Linux kernel, an operating system kernel first released on September 17, 1991 by Linus Torvalds. Linux is typically packaged in a Linux distribution (or distro for short).

Distributions include the Linux kernel and supporting system software and libraries, many of which are provided by the GNU Project. Many Linux distributions use the word "Linux" in their name, but the Free Software Foundation uses the name GNU/Linux to emphasize the importance of GNU software, causing some controversy.

Yep, I have been using it and it works great. I had to use the --disableAutogain true arguments, my SO talking in the background would spike the mic input levels but after using the flags I had zero issues.

I didn't know that was an option! I've been running the Chrome extension to disable automatic gain. I have had better luck using Edge than Chrome for the PWA, and they have a flatpak to make it easier. The only thing I miss now is the multiple windows like you get on a Mac/Windows where the call doesn't take over the chat window.

Not sure about Firefox but Chrome and Edge should work.

It did not on firefox and brave . Probably gotta tinker abit to enable cookies and similar.. Still i generaly prefer apps over web interfaces

The web interface still works? Might need chrome for it to work, it was broken in firefox last time i tried it.

Well you can use the web version.

I've been using the discontinued flatpak for the last month and it works fine.

Alongside it, I've also used the unofficial teams-for-linux flatpak which also works well.

I tried Chromium but couldn't get audio working and in Firefox, audio worked but screen sharing didn't as in, I couldn't see my lecturer's shared screen but I could see it in Chromium, so I had Firefox opened to hear the audio and was following along the shared screen on Chromium.
