Looks like since about an hour ago, lemmy.world has been serving read ECONNRESET responses at a high frequency. Not sure if this is a real issue, but I'm not seeing anything on other instances I'm tracking.

edit: I changed the check frequency and that seems to have "resolved" the errors on my end. Probably a better indication of actual uptime than before, but maybe not as representative of the end-user browsing experience.

Site died completely with a large "Error" message for about 5mins just now. Only just come back up.

I had to visit KBin and sh.itjust.works. I think that's what will make the Fediverse survive. No matter if a site dies for a bit there will always be a way to keeo feeding the need for memes.

Can’t stop the signal, Mal.

Spez killed me, Mal. He killed me with a admin. How weird is that?

Randomly been getting a few error messages but everything has been normal

I think it could be a load issue (heavy load on the server) so I'm adjusting the check to every 5 minutes to see if that changes the error rate.

Oh man if there just was a way to regex block any community with “meme” in it I might survive browsing /all again.

I was thrilled about the recent influx of activity. Just didn’t realize how strong the memes wave would be!

New and federated platform, it is reasonable that it will have downtime and problems

Is anything ever okay over here?

What site/service is that?

Lemmy.world is also returning a lot of 401s(?) making desktop, but mostly mobile apps, think that users aren't signed in.

I’m getting errors too. My guess is something related to the morning auto scaling
