Narcassists always want to frame things so it doesn't sound like they did anything wrong. Conservatives want compelled speech laws because they know that no one wants to put up with their bigoted shit. Their free speech means that they get to misgender trans people and act like hateful bigots, while at the same time banning a white supremacist from a website means that armed men from the government should arrest the owner because that's acceptable compelled speech.
Yes I think your accurate in your assessment here, but ultimately, most people don't like nazi, and brands don't want to be associated with nazi stuff, so they're pulling their ads because it's a Walmart ad next to a pro Hitler post. That just makes sense.
