I am a bit curious about how this will turn out. Worms is not a game that seems to translate well to the tabletop unless it is app assisted and/or comes with a slide ruler.

Yup, unless the game has some well thought out dexterity element i find it hard to see how it will capture the wacky feeling of the video game
Really curious as well. Worms has a major skill component to the majority of it's gameplay. This cannot be abstracted by chance (dice, cards) in any reasonable way.
