Would it be possible to implement a Blur NSFW setting that's tied to your account?

Almost every Lemmy app that's popped up lately has a "Blur NSFW", but it affects the app as a whole and you usually can't set it per account.

Some apps let you change your Lemmy Account settings directly within it, it'd be much handier if the Blur setting was there.

This is a lemmy instance (lemmy.world) support community. your suggestion would be better placed on the lemmy github or developer community.

Iโ€™m currently on mobile so no easy way for me to link them but pretty easy to find.

This is already a thing on kbin, I'm surprised it isn't on Lemmy

You can change this setting per account in Connect.

Simple: one app for the SFW accounts, one for the nsfw. I actually prefer this because a lot of other settings, like how it handles media posts, might also be different in different use cases.

may i ask which ones you use

Jerboa is SFW because, at least at the time I first tried it, the setting to uncensor NSFW content was not working properly. They may have fixed it since, idk.

Connect is the other. Those are the only two I've tried and they seem fine. Maybe one day I'll mess around with others, but they're good for now.
