I’m subscribed to a couple of communities where those bots post regularly. I noticed a drop in content recently and realized I haven’t seen those bots for the past week. I’m trying to figure out where they got blocked and was wondering if our instance blocked them. Anyone have an idea?

These bot instances were breaking some things for us, so they were temporarily blocked for a couple of days as I worked on a solution.

We now have a solution in place where posts from communities on these instances are only visible if you're subscribed to those specific communities. Basically, they are hidden by default, but you can opt-in by subscribing.

The bots are no longer blocked, so if they send out new posts to us, they will come through.

Thank you! That makes sense. As always, thanks for keeping lemm.ee awesome.

Doesn't look like those instances are blocked on your instance, you can check here: lemm.ee/instances.

Might be worth checking whether there's any posts directly on the instance, rather than via your instance.
