a normal person's apartment

Plants in the sink

Do normal people have plants in their sink? I don't. But then, I'm not normal so maybe normal people do πŸ€·πŸ»β€β™‚οΈ

Watering plants in the sink then leaving them for a bit can be convenient in some circumstances.

To water them, yes. My mom used to do this, she would water the plant and leave it in the sink for a while to drain before she put it back in its place.

My wife constantly has her plants in the sink. To water them. Easier to let them drip in there for a little while before putting them back.

She's like "wtf is up with those plants? Are they always in the sink?"

I feel like this kitchen would be featured in a shitty YouTube paranormal compilation where the guy just happens to have nightvision rolling in his kitchen. Suddenly napkins start flying off the counter and a mysterious shadow figure begins to peak around a corner, as all YouTube ghosts like to do.

Normal people don't put plants in the sink

My family had plants like that when I was a kid-- one easy way to care for them was to water them in the sink and then wait for some drainage before rehanging them

Or you could try not overwatering them, and then the soil wouldn't leak.
