There is something about Rayman being part of Rabbids and not the other way around, that just rubs me the wrong way.

Agreed, but at this point, I am just happy that he is still alive, and not left for dead in some unknown, forgotten corner of Ubisoft games archives.
I know i should be more hyped for Rayman’s return as a playable character for like the first time in a decade but honestly I am more excited for the return of the phantom.
He was the best character in the first game easily
