Toilets with threatening auras, you say?

(Bonus points: this bathroom was labeled "country" and the one next to it was labeled "western")

SO MUCH of the SovCit BS is dudes trying to get out of child support. I used to wonder why even the True Believers didn't call these guys out for being assholes, but then seeing how often it's about avoiding child support, I realized it's because these groups are composed in large part by OTHER dudes trying to do the same thing, of course they're not gonna call the other guy out.

Germanic-language countries with big Navies, naming a province "Sea Land". Tale as old as Europe.

It's not that an individual pig will revert to a wild hog, but the genes we selected for in domesticated pigs are so recessive, that it only takes about 3 generations to get from domesticated to wild hog. And considering their gestational period is around 4 months, and it only takes about 6 months for them to be fully grown... 3 generations can happen pretty quickly.

There's kind of alot going on, but the shortest answer is "the electrostatic force between the positive nucleus and negative electron creates orbits in the same way that gravity allows a moon to orbit a planet". The electron is moving fast enough that it just "misses" the nucleus. At least, from a classical lens.

It gets more complicated when you introduce orbital angular momentum and start considering the magnetic effects of moving charges, and that's what leads to the funky non-spherical orbital shapes.
