i would love for my next car to be an EV

It doesn't need to have 1000km range, or edge to edge touch screens, or anything fancy

Give me something like a subaru impreza, with 300-400km range, and a sunroof.

Now onkly the BC conservatives would do the same thing....

wow... i cant imagine having my head halfway as far up myself as you do.

In the end, i think everyone here can see you for the liar you are, and your criticism of the system seems to boil down to "well, i dont use it, so lets make it worse for everyone else... proof that the USA spends more for worse service? I'll just call it fake and ignore it"

I hope all your friends know exactly who you are.

"here's all the way I've used the system" "well, you dummies have never used the system"

You really do love lying. Do i need to remind you of my post that you responded to? Lets see, the last time I used the system.... was 2 weeks ago, when I took my baby to the ER for an ear infection. That took 4 hours, which isn't great and has room for improvement, but... you know, they got the care they needed at 0 additional cost.

Just proves how out of touch you are with the Canadian healthcare system.

Now, I don't know why you make it your goal to criticize something you know nothing about, and then you go on to brag you know nothing about, and then you go on to call names and wish cancer when this is pointed out to you...

But hey, don't let the truth get in the way of your lies!

Yes, yes, we have been over this, you are a liar, we know. You admit it, we know. I bring the facts, you bring lies. We know.

[–] [email protected] 9 points 3 weeks ago (2 children)

Just because you are a liar, doesn't mean the rest of us are.

Wow. You really are a toxic asshole. Imagine being such an asshole you wish cancer on someone. Hope your parents see this post!

Lets see,

  1. My grandma got cancer, she got it treated and lived another 15 years.
  2. My wife's grandfather was found to have late stage throat cancer, he was admitted into a hospital within the day, where he opted for MAID instead of treatment, being 95 years old.
  3. My wife needed a C-section, and got it within hours.
  4. My american friend has had reoccuring melinoma, and has had it treated every time without cost.
  5. when my son was born, we had weekly house vists from a nurse to check in how he was doing, for two months, free of charge.
  6. my manager needed an emergency triple bypass, which they got, within 24 hours. and then 2 weeks of hospital stay, which they got.

And in all of that, you know what our biggest expense was? Food, and not for the patient, for the rest of us who was there supporting them

Yea, the american system is fucked.

yes, you are a liar, we already established that. One of my friends served in the american military for decades.. and yes, hes made it REALLY clear what he thinks of them now.

But dont let the truth hurt your feelings.

Oof, I knew you were ignorant.. but...

"Individuals enrolled in group health plans paid an average annual premium of $8,435 in 2023 (about $703 per month), according to data from independent health and medical research firm KFF. For families, the total annual premium averaged at $23,968 — or about $1,997 per month."

Thats on top of the the tax paid, for an average health care expense per capita of $12,555. Canada is at $6,319 per capita, aka half, despite offering universal health care.

IE: in the USA you pay more, get less.

Aww, your true colours are showing.

I found this article a gripping read. Can't imagine living in a community so controlled by a group that spreads hate

I'm still annoyed how this is made. i always assumed it just split it into two base100 connections. the fact that they were too cheap to do even that is... just stupid.
