Fractional Reserve Banking really do be that way. And it could be OK with stronger protections against bankers being able to ~~bribe~~ lobby politicians with funnymoney, or pay themselves exorbitant compensations. The supply of currency has to grow with the economy's growing productive capacity, and its better if government spending isn't the only way new currency comes to exist.

As the operator of the other circus once said, "all publicity is good publicity," and "there's a sucker born every minute."

And as the other clown, Dr. Strangelove, once said, "the whole point of a Doomsday Machine is lost, if you keep it a secret!"

The idea of a Federal cemetery being "sacred" and the strangers buried there being "honored" is so far removed from the every day fight for survival of the average, brutally exploited wageslave American, the notion that starting a fight there could budge the needle on an election lacks credibility. However, injecting the knowledge into the global zeitgeist that there's a cemetery in America where rows of uniform gravestones extend as far as the eye can see, marking the depths of USA's brutality and Will to Power - that sends a message.

“Arlington National Cemetery routinely hosts public wreath laying ceremonies at the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier for individuals and groups who submit requests in advance. ANC conducts nearly 3,000 such public ceremonies a year without incident. Participants in the August 26th ceremony and the subsequent Section 60 visit were made aware of federal laws, Army regulations, and DoD policies, which clearly prohibit political activities on cemetery grounds. An ANC employee who attempted to ensure adherence to these rules was abruptly pushed aside. Consistent with the decorum expected at ANC, this employee acted with professionalism and avoided further disruption. The incident was reported to the JBM-HH police department, but the employee subsequently decided not to press charges. Therefore, the Army considers this matter closed. This incident was unfortunate, and it is also unfortunate that the ANC employee and her professionalism has been unfairly attacked. ANC is a national shrine to the honored dead of the Armed Forces, and its dedicated staff will continue to ensure public ceremonies are conducted with the dignity and respect the nation’s fallen deserve.”

Seems like an interesting option for naturally aspirated race cars. They let you hit high RPM without worrying about valve float and without using overly powerful and lossy springs.

The difficulty of keeping them sealed suggests they're less than optimal for high boost turbo applications, or high compression, fuel efficient commuter engines. Narrow tolerances may also increase manufacturing costs and decrease longevity, which is less of a problem for a race engine compared to something designed for mass production.

Some people find hydrostatic equilibrium aesthetically pleasing.

Not D4 specifically, but yeah. I got temp banned from Reddit for reporting a ToS violation, and decided to never go back.

Hot air is less dense than cold air, and the speed of light through a fluid will change with the fluid's density. Heat shimmers are a swirling mass of air at different temperatures.

The Book of Enoch is wild though. It reads like a first hand account from a bronze age tribal getting abducted by aliens.
