Yes, that's the usual criticism. To be able to stake, you need to have currency, promoting a rich get richer kind of scheme.

Proof of stake is one method I've seen, but I'm sure there are others.

Hey, I've been looking for a better airpod app in android, mind telling me the name?

If you go into the post and open the picture it opens in good quality. There's an issue with previews not loading properly sometimes.

Yes, it alsodepends on how much help you get from the motor. I can get between 35 and 80km out of my Ebike depending on the helping function I choose, how much headwind, how many hills, how much I'm carrying, etc. I went with a midrange battery for mine, but after experiencing the longer range use cases (going on biking holidays carrying my child or on day trips somewhere relatively far), I'd definitely choose the largest battery next time. I definitely think it's worth the extra 200-300 dollars.

I'll also do a shout out to Thule bike trailers. You can attach them behind any bike instead of having to buy a special one with front carrying, and they're super light, all terrain and can be easily removed when you don't need them.

Do you remember where? I can see mark seen, but not a hide seen or anything like that

[–] [email protected] 1 points 1 year ago

Yeah, unfortunately that's not permanent. If I refresh or come back later, the seen posts are back again. I don't know if it's a bug or an intended feature :/

Does Sync have automatically hide read posts? I couldn't find it in the settings, could you point me to it?

If any legislation was to happen, it would be to mandate the standard work week to 32 hours, so if a company wanted to have you for 40 they would have to pay overtime. This has happened several times in history already by the way (6 to 5 day work week and 12 to 8 hour work day), so I don't see how it would be any different.

Companies don't pay out of the goodness of their hearts, they pay what the market demands, so if they cannot get new hires at a certain salary, they will have to increase it.

Why would everyone be working 40 hours? The whole point of the study is that they reduced working hours to 32 hours a week without loss in pay.
