Its cool how she changed "never again" from referring to genocide to something about terrorists. Really really cool rhetoric right there

Its from the Animatrix, a part called "The Second Renaissance". It's an anime history of the robots. One of my favorite shorts of all time.

The first robot to kill a human is a butler who then argues in court that he snapped from being mistreated. I don't really want to give anything else away because its worth watching. It is pretty heavy and haunting and freaks me out when I watch it, but its so good. 15 minutes of absurd future history.

This is canonically how the robot takeover in the Matrix starts

I rewatched Magnolia recently and am blown away with the film as a whole. It has such good acting, writing and flow. Like Requiem it has converging story lines and characters that are flawed yet endearing. William H Macy is fantastic. Tom Cruise as an incel leader is pretty great too. That character would definitely be an Andrew Tate style influencer now. I also love how Patton Oswalt is in the movie for 30 seconds just to die a darwin award style death (first 5 min of movie, not a spoiler). Magnolia is a total gem IMO.

Rent and housing costs are up 150-300% in my area. Liberals don't give a fuck because they either already own or are slumlords themselves. Death to America and it's "real estate investment" market.

Happy Bicycle Day! (psychedelicwater.com)

April 19th might just seem like another day for casual bike enthusiasts, but there's a twist. Instead of merely honoring your average two-wheeled joyrides, Bicycle Day tips its hat to a psychedelic voyage of epic proportions.

Forget what you thought you knew about this pseudo-holiday, because it's not just about cycling. We're here to shine a light on the fateful day in 1943 when Albert Hofmann, Swiss chemist and LSD creator, treated himself to a mind-altering bicycle ride. You heard that right—our guy Albert inadvertently discovered the mind-expanding properties of LSD while cycling around Basel, Switzerland.

According to Rolling Stone, Hofmann chose the iconic time of 4:20 p.m. on April 19th to dose himself. What ensued was a trip (pun fully intended) through a kaleidoscope of “fantastic images,” as Hofmann later detailed in his memoir, LSD: My Problem Child. He rode six miles that day, but the experience was more about the journey than the destination.

Willy Joseph Cancel, a dumbass 22-year old former USA marine, got killed in Ukraine. Widowing his wife and leaving behind a 7 month baby. Aside from being a former marine at 22 (somehow) he was a corrections officer who dreamed of being a NYPD officer. Strong :le-pol-face: vibes
