Then also there is just oakland pd which has been soooo bad for decades now and even the FBI had to literally come in and do a regime change and fire hella people. There's definitely more departments getting arrested too I just can't even keep track anymore

No matter how disgusting and evil and sad these people are, just remember they are extremely miserable people. Likely have zero actual friends and are probably mad 24/7 about stuff that has no effect on them at all.

I've seen some polls suggesting it is pretty unpopular. Lots of blue seats were won againdt major transphobes these last two years in some surprising places. I also think anecdotally having to hear anyone irl harp on about trans hate or LGBT hate is extremely off-putting for everyone. Most of my family is right wing and there is only 1 person in my whole extended family that will randomly bring up trans issues and everyone tells them to shut up lol. It's just not a real concern for a lot of people.

The thing is too is this type of hate is way more prevalent online, we've been bombarded with it. But when the right has actual sieg heiling nazis showing up to rallies/protests against drag its an extremely bad look for even the less moderate right wingers.

I think it depends too on where you live. Some places are definitely just always going to hafe anyone not cis

I feel what you mean by internalized work ethic and defrauding someone however the alternative here is busting your ass so the company can see 0.1% growth or whatever meaningless number. All my favorite jobs have been where I do the least. Keeps the mind free of bullshit, at least for me
