Floridian here. My mom currently has Citizenship Insurance. Her rates will increase by about 11.5% by the end of the year.

Preach. I work for a small manufacturing and production company. The pay rate is $16/hr, they don't offer health insurance, they have paid holidays, they offer 1 week paid vacation after 1 year and 2 weeks after 3 years. They're having trouble hiring people. They've resorted to reaching out to former employees and asking current workers if they could reach out to friends or family.

Edit: The location is South Florida, so $16/hr isn't much here. I live with my parents so it's good enough for me.

When I was younger, gaming was all I did as it was my only hobby and I didn't have many friends. I'd play the same 5-6 games since my catalog was small and my folk weren't keen to buy more. I didn't care much about graphics, performance, or length. I was also more of a completionist, searched for collectables, completed challenges and time trials, and completed side quests. Nowadays, I have a larger gaming library. I own hundreds of games on Steam, but I've hardly played a handful of them. Over time I've realized that I play games for killing time more than anything else. I've become more conscious of how I'm spending my free time and now I spend my free time doing other things.

Sorry for the confusion on the first response. I mixed up different posts. From the list, I'd say Digital Storm, Falcon Northwest, and System 76 offer the best build quality, fit, and finish.

I should have clarified. She wants to retrieve her avocados that have fallen over the other community's side.

Here's a picture of the fence and hedge.

Here's a picture of our tree.

Using things outside of their intended purposes. I live in a gated community with my folks. Our house borders an apartment complex community, the border is a fence followed by a hedge in our backyard. We have several fruit trees in our backyard including avocados and mangoes. During fruiting season, avocados will drop and fall over the fence. My mom uses a pvc pipe with a kitchen knife taped to one end to use as a spear to retrieve avocados over the fence on the other community's side. 5+ kitchen knives have been broken by doing this. I recently bought a 30ft fruit picker to collect fruit before they drop, so hopefully that helps to alleviate the problem.

Your actions, whether good or bad, will eventually affect you. Luck, which is defined as the factors that are beyond your control, such as genetics, family upbringing, and place of birth, is a major determining factor in life.

It's similar to how some people don't put their cart into a cart corral after loading their groceries even though the corral is nearby. I just boil it down to laziness and apathy at that point.

I live with my folks in a gated community. There's still dog poop on the sidewalks and in the grass even though there are designated dog poop disposal stations with bags and bins all across the community.

Best: Casual work environment, Monday-Friday work schedule, Day shift

Worst: Small businesses shenanigans and problems like lack of health insurance and occasional late paychecks to name a few. The workplace is dysfunctional. There are very little safety standards. There is a complete and utter inventory mismanagement problem. There are no standardized procedures, especially for training. There is difficulty in hiring new and retaining new employees. The long time employees are leaving due to retirement, health issues, or just utter frustration and dissatisfaction, and they're taking all of their knowledge and experience with them.

Some long-timers recently quit, including the business owner's son who's also the person who hired me. They quit because they were doing the jobs of multiple people and having more responsibilities and job duties tacked on to them. Even the IT guy is trying to fix the inventory situation at the off-site warehouse even though the business owner said he was looking to hire an inventory specialist.

Hello. I'm in my mid 20s. I was mute in my early youth and had to attend speech therapy classes in preschool and early in elementary school, and I rode the short bus. I played with and spoke to my stuffed toys until I was in middle school and that was when my parents took them away. My family always said that I was an odd child, but only in recent years did they suspect that I was on the spectrum. To this day, I've never been officially diagnosed.
