Why 5 instances of Searxng? Do you get very different results with each? I pretty much always use the same one..

Sweet, I'll be placing pixels again this year to get us on the Canvas. I feel like we night have fewer active placers than last year but idk. We completed this size fairly early and last year and folks moved to other designs so I bet we can make the same size happen again As for location, we should probably pick a spot after the first hour or so to avoid immediately fighting with another comm
Thanks for the reply. I'm looking forward to these cards evoking little memories of Redwall from 15 years ago. Always loved the badgers and hares in that.
Yeah this seems incredibly pushed. I have a hunch this whole set will be a high power level.
I wonder whether we will be getting Salamandastron references with the badgers. Anybody read the published stories who can tell me?
As for the card, seems like a limited bomb, but I think the colored pips keep it from being standard playable.
Nice. Definitely down to work on the .zip logo again. We were pretty prominent last time, though if Mastodon gets involved, this year will be totally different
Wow one whole year huh. I appreciate having an excellent admin like you. Excited to see where Lemmy and .zip are in another year.
The pipe comic with Garfield was also likely referencing a famous Magritte painting.
The painting is a kind of play on self-reference
Meme-ception for sure
Definitely a huge overlap but mostly just because these are classic and great tropes from English-language literature. I doubt Dune was a major inspiration for WOT.
Aes Sedai - Bene - Moirai/Weird Sisters Moiraine is literally named after the Moirai
Paul/Rand are regular chosen ones with the foreign savior theme of Lawrence/Heart of Darkness added on for good measure
Power creep and all but I genuinely doubt this will see any play in the formats it's legal in. It's miles behind Ragavan on its own and the archetype this fits in is go wide aggro, which loses to the exact board wipes that deal perfectly with this army in a can type card. Playing three of these by turn two and pumping out three extra bodies EOT can win a game of modern but that is not always going to happen.
Thanks for sharing these links. I'm another off-instance lurker who has learned a lot by browsing Hexbear posts. The comments here reinforce that y'all are being strategic with your federation choices, which is cool to see.
Really liking the thematic and mechanical design of the frogs this set.
Also, I feel like the average cost for power and toughness is just really pushed this set. Last time I felt it was this much was Throne of Eldraine. I feel like Commons and Uncommons have hit another powercreep milestone.
