Yes, including in MDF, laminate, most finishes on wood, most plastics, most paints and perfumes. Cement and concrete. Tires. Car exhaust. And there's a lot I'm missing.

PTFE is still allowed and can kill birds from the fumes.

If you can't hear the dog whistle in what he said, show it to a black friend of yours, someone who is good at detecting bullshit. Saying "ackshully, black people are the most racist," and then qualifying it with "in my experience" to try to mitigate the racist statement doesn't really fly with me. I have heard too many racist Nazi fucks say that exact phrase to not recognize it. There are other variations too for other races, such as "The Chinese/Indians/Japanese are the most racist," the main goal being how superior western white culture is compared to whatever race is so terribly racist. It's just another "white people are so amazing actually" circlejerk.

And I do indeed know very wealthy white racists, and anecdotally what they said to me behind closed doors is worse than anything a black person has ever said to me. Have you ever been sent pictures of dead bodies of black people hanging from trees, by a black person? And the person thought it was funny? I've received that and Nazi flags and all kinds of horrible racist shit from these white wealthy men. It's fully disturbing, especially because they literally own companies. Imagine a commercial landlord having those views and what that impacts. Imagine a military contractor having those views.

Because of their success, these wealthy men do not self analyze and instead have wicked confirmation/survivor's bias. Which truly anyone including someone who is black can succumb to - eg Kanye.

The other issue is that Reddit hosts a ton of illegal content including stuff that could possibly be CP and bestiality, along with full service sex work, drug dealing, and shoplifting/stealing Reddits. Somehow the laws that took down Backpage and Craigslist personals left Reddit pretty much unscathed.

Spez himself was the moderator for r/jailbait. A large function of Reddit is to data mine people and then (I speculate) blackmail them later for this illegal/adult/unrevealed content if they turn out to be influential. This is also why Reddit is so extremely picky about their porn subs and who (in terms of adult Content Creators) they allow to post/interact with users, and why they no longer have mod transparency.

And before anyone starts calling me too crazy, let me add one more crazy conspiracy to the pile- the conspiracy that Ghilisaine Maxwell was a regular poster to the News subreddits. Sorry to link to this sub, but this does have the tldr of this conspiracy and links etc fornthe curious. In general r/conspiracy is a rightwing shithole ofc. https://www.reddit.com/r/conspiracy/comments/r45a5n/here_is_the_evidence_that_reddit_user_maxwellhill/

Epstein was a fraudster who, once he was caught, needed money. He got it from Les Wexler (and maybe org crime?) who gave him a house outfitted with cameras. Epstein wasn't a trafficker as his primary purpose. He was getting blackmail.

Right? Good policy means you look at issues and try to fix them systemically.

I don't think cars should be removed at gunpoint, but if we could have a more robust and clean public health transportation system which would naturally phase out cars, I'm for it. Give us fucking decent high-speed rail.

And for the guns, at minimum give people health care including mental healthcare

This is a stupid comment to make. Yes, black people can be racist against black people. No, they are not "the most racist." Look at Elon Musk and his family's emerald mines. THAT'S the most racist people we know - the prison owners, the people destabilizing Africa and other countries, the people enslaving other races for profit. Just because that racism is socially acceptable here because it affords those people luxury, doesn't make them "less racist." You just don't pick up on it because you're used to it.

Walz should host a Twitch stream

Meh, I wish they had done this with George Santos before he got elected. Being scrutinized is part of the process of running for office. That these are nothing burgers is a good thing.

Okay so you now admit that judges can determine a guilty or not guilty sentence? And that judges have special training helping them to understand the law exactly, whereas jurors typically do not have this training?

Yes, it does, because it implies a jury is meant to function outside of the established law by definition and instead focus on law as the people use and understand it. This is justice. That's why we can legally protest and get laws changed.

Chrystal should have indeed gone to trial, that's why so many people are upset she didn't, because we all think she would probably have gotten off. But it's not a guarantee so she took the deal. That's literally why people are talking about jury trials here lol, and her legal counsel.

Jury’s do not exist to interpret the law according to the vibe of a given case. If they did, obviously Chrystul would’ve gone to trial instead of taking the deal.

Like this is such a stupid position. Chrystal, a girl who was sex trafficked most of her teens and is still young, wouldn't know whether it's better to go to trial or not. And her knowledge of if she should go to trial or not doesn't dictate the role of juries lmfao. She doesn't determine that.

Again we go back to why juries exist. They have jury nullification available literally specifically so juries can indeed nullify the law. That is part of the function of a jury. Just because that upsets you, doesn't mean that's not what they are for. Since you didn't even know that a bench trial existed, you're not exactly a legal expert on this.

A jury is a democratically elected government. They are voted in by both the prosecution and defense. And the people in the Supreme Court decide our laws and are a much smaller and more corrupt group. Congress and the senate also make laws and proportionate to the country's population, are also a very tiny group making laws for everyone.

I think you just don't understand juries and this upsets you.

You aren't quoting. That wasn't a quote. Stop gaslighting, stop engaging in sophistry, stop being emotionally abusive. It's not appreciated.

You did indeed say negative stuff. Stop gaslighting, stop engaging in sophistry, stop being emotionally abusive. It's not appreciated.

I didn't say I knew more than the WHO. Stop gaslighting, stop engaging in sophistry, stop being emotionally abusive. It's not appreciated.

You're allowed to block me. Go ahead. Nothing stopping you. Doesn't bother me.

Cars still offgas other heavy metals (arsenic, cadmium, chromium, nickel), and rhe wear from their tires also distributes heavy metals. Tractors do the same in our fields and have for decades. It's not good. Instead of developing drones for the military, we should develop them for our food supply first.

WINDOW ROCK, Ariz. — The President of the Navajo Nation announced earlier today that he was sending police to stop the transport of uranium across tribal lands. In his statement, President Buu Nygren said that the shipment was being done illegally. He also stated the lack of notice from the mining company posed a danger to his people.

"The lack of notification to the Navajo Nation is a blatant disregard for our tribal sovereignty and exposes our Diné people to toxic uranium,” Nygren said. “A substance that has devastated our community for decades.”

During the development of the first nuclear bomb and the subsequent nuclear arms race, Navajo lands were home to a large number of uranium mines. Sites across the Colorado Plateau, many of them on the Navajo reservation, were used to extract millions of tons of high-grade uranium ore.

Energy Fuels Inc., the largest uranium provider in the United States, agreed to give the tribe notice before hauling uranium across exempted highways. According to Nygren, the tribe only found out about the shipment after trucks had departed.

[Nygren dispatched tribal police to turn away the shipment. But, according to the Associated Press, the trucks left tribal lands before police could intercept them.

"As president, I do not approve of this transport and will continue to fight to ensure our people are protected from the actions of Energy Fuels,” Nygren said.

While Tuesday’s shipment quickly left tribal lands, no guarantee exists that Energy Fuels will honor their agreement in the future. President Nygren has vowed to use roadblocks to prevent further shipments of uranium while the tribe develops regulations.

This has been a doozy of a year. And it's the best year so far blah blah. So how are you all coping? Does it hit anyone else like a bolt of lightning that probably I - we - won't die of old age?
