Accepting title suggestions below if anyone has one.

I'm mostly just confused why, in response to someone saying they don't like singing set pieces it was brought up. It's a great movie along with the others you mentioned but it was very much a "one of these things is not like the other" moment.

Well yes. It has lots of music. I wouldn't call it a musical in any sense though.

Madame Web was the most fun I've had in a theater since before the pandemic. I did not outlast 10 other people in that theater just to allow someone to slander that masterpiece!

I feel like a large majority of the hate towards grampa Joe is just hating the poor for being poor. The man is 80, he retired when his job shut down 20 years prior (when he was 60). Why would you expect an 80 year old man to be actively working? He's 80! Let him be retired!

The bad guy isn't the old man who retired cuz he got laid off, it's the billionaire chocolate mogal who replaced his workforce with slave labor causing thousands to go without a job.

This has actually helped a lot.

I never understood the criticism people make of "maybe focus on the engine instead of making bad tweets" as in the social media manager is ALSO the lead coder or something?

At no point does putting out a tweet change how fast someone unrelated takes to code something.

Is that it? That's pretty much everything I gathered from it too.

Why is anyone making a big deal of that???

I saw the apology statement and the original tweet but I'm genuinely confused about what people are mad about?

Especially mad enough to make a fork of the Godot engine?

I did watch This video from Games From Scratch but he barely gives any actual information about what people are mad about. The most information I got is that a joke tweet was made and a non-affiliated moderator went a little overboard.

What am I missing here? What's got everyone so upset?

Right now the audience and critic scores are exactly tied.

36 percent

It's basically a play on simulation theory.

The idea is that we are all just coded into a simulation and everything around us is fake but since we're built into the system there's genuinely no way to prove that right or wrong.

In the case of this comic, a bunch of people in the simulation manage to see proof of it being an actual simulation for the first time when they see someone manage to leave it... As a result they want to get out as well and fail their own attempts.
