A lot of people on Lemmy are just… old.

This thread made me realize this.

If this bill passes and any of you criticizes China/Russia for banning Facebook/Instagram/Twitter etc.. under the name of “lack of freedom of speech”. I will be laughing. A lot.

A lot of people started their businesses on Tiktok. The Tiktok algorithm is actually way better than that of Instagram to reach your target niche. A lot content creators and marketing exes do realize this.

I don’t understand the mentality of users, of course of obviously older generation here, that realize Tiktok did in fact change a lot of people’s lives. It’s not just an app for dancing.

Let’s not forget the Tiktok Shop section.

I used to use MyFitnessPal but its pop up ads are particularly annoying and paying $20 for an ad free version doesn't make a lot of sense to me.

I use Memmy daily and I was checking if Memmy is still under development. Unfortunately I couldn’t find the respective community. The app is well-designed that I doubt it was never updated since month.

I also want to support the developer(s). :)

Hello Artists of Lemmy.

I am not sure if this is allowed here but I found nowhere else to post it in Lemmy. I didn't find anything in the side bar against text posts. If this is inappropriate then tell me to delete it.

I just created a new community on lemmy.world about the Middle East and I want to a design a banner for it. Unfortunately, I am not artist. I am not asking for free art for myself, rather art that would make my community looks better. If anyone is willing to volunteer to create a banner for this community, I will be very grateful.
