Tidal power of some sort would be pretty solar punk. The big advantage is that it is much more predictable then wind.

Algaculture would be intressting as well. It is still relativly uncommon in the West.

For canals electric ships are an intressting option. Solar powered ferries are a thing, but also cable powered ferries. Solar powered ferry "Helio" on the Untersee

In rivers reaction ferries are a wonderfull alternative. They use the flow of water to power the ferry over the river using nothing else but ropes. Really call and very much solarpunk.

Another one is swimming in canals and rivers. Especially in cities this is often not a good idea, due to bad water quality.

Commuting via boats and ferries. When you have a large river, why not commute to work via stand up paddling or in a kayak?

EDIT:

Also hydrofoils are pretty cool. They allow for greater speed on water.

She does not want to talk about it. However she has actually a pretty good record of supporting climate action like sponsoring the Green New Deal, which she mostly got passed in form of the inflation reduction act. Action is worth so much more then words.

The reason she does not want to do it, is that it is better to run on women's rights and workers rights. Trump has an awful record on it as well and a lot more people care about it.

Or it is due to Chinese banks making paying for the oil more difficult.

Hydrogen can be stored in underground caverns and that can be relatively easily scaled to TWh. Electrolysis and fuel cell can get you 70% or so of your electricity back. So it is less efficient then batteries. However there might be a place for hydrogen as seasonal storage. Also the storage makes sense as quite a few processes use hydrogen anyway.

So there is a use case, but right now we mostly should just add renewables and batteries. We are nowhere close to a solar/wind grid, which does actually need seasonal storage. Also grid size helps a lot and there are options such as burning waste.

There is a lot besides an actual peace plan Modi can be usefull for. For example Ukraine captured a lot of Russians in Kursk and Russia still has Ukraninans from the beginning of the war. A prisoner exchange would be usefull for both sites. Also just getting an idea what Russia is willing to do for peace is at least intressting. If their proposal is somewhat serious, then they might run out will to fight.

Seriously in Europe many investment funds activly go to the unions and ask which problems the company have. They are often better informed and honest then the normal management. They also have an obvious intresst in keeping the company around.

A tax rate for billionaires of 200% seems fair to me...

“I did encourage him to get this over with. You want to get it over with fast. Have victory, get your victory, and get it over with. It has to stop, the killing has to stop,” Trump said at a New Jersey press conference on Thursday, referring to their meeting at Mar-a-Lago last month. But he also criticized cease-fire demands.

In other words Trump wants to have a quick genocide. That is the only way to stop the killing, without having a ceasefire. Even Biden was a hell of a lot better then this.

Maybe the city selling 200,000 flats was a mistake. Especially with massive population growth.

The buying a new phone is meant to be a part of affluence, rather then tech.

Gas sales are not going to moved from the EU to China after all.

This is good news. Ukraine will likely push north and take all the land south of the Seym. This gives a pretty good defensive line and shortens the border, while moving the potential fighting into Russia.
