It seems like he is just puffing out his chest to hide his belly. Probably because he knew he was on camera.

I don't know that Biden even really wanted the job when he ran in 2020. The impression that I got was that he was done seeking the presidency after 2016, it seemed like maybe the party convinced him he was the best chance to beat Trump.

I could be wrong, but it's hard for me to believe he wanted to do anything besides retire and enjoy his remaining time with his remaining family.

Once it became clear that he was NOT the best option to beat Trump, he dropped out. It might be as simple as that.

Still major kudos for dropping out either way.

The rich are going to get to the "find out" stage one way or the other. Do I generally like a wealth tax? No. Do I think it's needed now because Republicans fucked up our country with repeated tax cuts for the rich over 60 years that we would never otherwise recover from? Yes.

This is such a bad move for his campaign, this is going to force her to release a statement, if she doesn't sue.

She probably wasn't going to endorse any candidate since that's the smart move as an entertainer... but I wouldn't be surprised if she just endorses Harris very publicly now to get ahead of any stain on her reputation.

Same here, even with all the BS around Twitter and his political views... I WAS still considering a Tesla, but with the pro-Trump PAC and the deep fakes on Xitter it's just another level of bullshit.

Hoping he gets forced out in the next year because I also don't want to buy from a dealership, which doesn't leave me a lot of options for an EV.

Even with a live fact check requirement, would you trust Fox News to fact check? They'd probably use "alternative facts".

It has been working out fine for the greedy so far, but is that really sustainable in the long term? At some point if greed isn't checked, there WILL be violence.

Maybe... but in the long term advertisers aren't going to be willing to spend as much on a platform if they know that ads are easily blocked.

There doesn't even need to be any kind of cap, they just need to pay more taxes and be prohibited from buying politicians.

The charging team thing seems like pretty standard power trip behavior from an exec, not that it's good... seems like the plan is to hire some of those people back and continue to invest in charging infrastructure.

What seems really braindead to me is the Cybertruck... they could have made a normal mid-size pickup and been absolutely killing it right now. I probably would have already bought one despite my opinion of Musk.

We're talking about people that believe Joe Biden has "open border" policies and that Democrats are performing abortions after birth.

I'd assume they believe every word.

As much as I like John Stewart, I think one of the big issues with Trump was that he and his administration were totally unqualified for their jobs. Let's not stoop to their level and put up someone who has never held public office.
