I'm really excited about how great KDE has become in recent years. It was getting scary back when KDE4 had lots of problems and gnome3 was devoid of all functionality. Nowadays KDE makes the Linux desktop truly a pleasure to use.

As a homeowner it's often difficult to find someone who will do good work and not rip me off. I usually just end up figuring out how to do a lot of work myself, but I'm busy so projects get delayed. It's encouraging to read a story like this. I hope someday I can find someone like yourself to build a relationship with to get more updates done around the house.

Is there a reverse image search that helps find original images prior to captions being applied or someone down-rezzing it to death

I installed one of these new displays this past weekend and it looks fantastic in Linux. Granted I've only tried Plasma so far on Wayland but that's because I really don't find Gnome usable. It looks good at 200% though and a similar scale to 150% on the old display.

Vista was absolutely the slowest thing imaginable. They reduced the requirements as part of a marketing campaign for "Vista-ready" PCs, but PCs that ran it "well" were few and far between. Even after 7 came out if you went back to Vista it was noticeably slower.

It absolutely amazes me that people give him a free pass for this shit. Same with his remarks at Belleau Wood.

“Why should I go to that cemetery? It’s filled with losers.” In a separate conversation on the same trip, Trump referred to the more than 1,800 marines who lost their lives at Belleau Wood as “suckers” for getting killed.

I'd rather they raise the cap on deductions (mortgage interest, state and local taxes) back to how it used to be Pre-Trump and give additional tax rebates to first time home buyers. His tax bill raised my effective tax rate a shitload. I would never have been able to buy my first house without those provisions.
