I hope you'll find an easier way to do it, but if it was me in your shoes, I'd probably drive out to them. You driving the U-Haul with them driving your car home sounds like a good idea. It's the safest option to make sure they don't run into even MORE trouble.

My advice would be to stop fucking fighting about shit that doesn't actually matter, like religion and guns. Focus on things that are actually more likely to end our civilization, like accelerating climate change.

I think that taking a hard-line "policy" on something is inherently stupid. Everything has nuance, and having very strong, rigid opinions about the hot-button issues of the day doesn't make you smarter or better than those that are more apathetic.

I'm generally pro-choice, but I fully understand why many people have issues with abortions and I don't really blame them for wanting to outlaw the practice. I'm in favor of SOME increased gun control, but I also think that people are wayyyy too obsessed with guns in general. There are other things that kill a lot more people than guns but nobody's freaking out about those. So honestly I think there isn't much to be gained here by trying to make guns harder to buy, or taking people's guns away, or whatever.

Lol seems like you're here to pick fights. What do I think should happen to what?

.....and then everything you do and say gets monitored by the CCP......

Sounds like a bunch of crap I don't want, and they're adding more crap according to this article. And if they are indeed going the way of WeChat, becoming a "super app" and partnering with Chinese and crypto companies, that makes me very nervous about privacy.

I had a wiener dog that absolutely SLAYED moles like it was his job. Seriously, I bet he killed more than a hundred over a few years. I guess it kind of was his job, wieners are bred to hunt burrowing animals like that. Dachshund is German for "badger hound".

Anyway, he got a little older, fatter, and lazier, and we also moved to an area with tougher soil, so his mole slaying days were over (we thought). But then we got a young German Shepherd, and he figured out that he could find the mole (his downward pointing ears made him good at that), start digging the hole, and then stand back and let her take over. Then after she did all the hard work of grabbing and killing the thing, he would steal it from her and come present it to us very proudly.

He wasn't a terribly bright dog, so I was really impressed when he started doing that. The German Shepherd was way smarter than him by any measure, but I think she didn't care that he was taking credit for her kills. She was just having fun helping him. Both excellent dogs, I miss them a lot.

1337x.to and The Pirate Bay are the popular options, if you want your torrent easily accessible then put it on both of those.

It looks like Mozilla doesn't maintain an official Canadian dictionary, they just rely on this add-on created by a single guy: https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/canadian-english-dictionary/

I'd suggest turning that dictionary off and relying on a third-party spelling/grammar app with better Canadian language support. I don't know if they have a Canada-specific option, but I like LanguageTool: https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/languagetool/

There are a lot of options out there, be careful about which ones have a decent privacy policy. Keep in mind, they could easily record anything you type, on any website.

Makes sense to me. I consider myself independent because both parties piss me off, and I think the duopoly and polarization is ridiculous. Democrats say Republicans are stupid, Republicans say Democrats are stupid. I say they're both idiots. 😆

It's definitely not necessary, but damn it's convenient and easy now that it's set up. And my setup is relatively simple. Sonarr is for TV, Bazaar automates subtitles, there's Lidarr for music, and Readarr for books.... The list of 'arrs is long.

In my user settings, if I set "Default Listing Type" to Subscribed, and "Default Sort Type" to TopDay, when I re-launch the app it shows me Subscribed, but sorted by "Old" instead.
