When the topic isn't politics he's fine, not to be a armchair psychologist but I think he brings this stuff up as often as he does because he wants to be proven wrong but is too proud to just ask

I agree with you that the little tales in the leaks do actually fit the style of real mythology, which is full of stories about freaky sex from incest to bestiality to tree-sired pregnancies and self-cest.

Imo this is just an example of why these attempts at story-driven immortal franchises will inevitably collapse under their own weight. Pokemon initially worked fine as a sort of amusement park reality where there isn't really any focus on the wider world or its history, but as these weird amalgamated corporate franchises get bigger than their original scope, they run out of material to grow up with, and they start to just grow in every other direction instead. It's why your favorite Netflix series starts to fill its runtime with episodes devoted to giving every side character, no matter how irrelevant, a full developmental arc--the "universification" of settings

every day I tremble at the thought of the local "wearing white t shirts with poop smeared on them" party spreading their dangerous ideology

Look that type of terror is unavoidable, it isn't the same as believing every village idiot is going to band together to overthrow democracy

(This guy also LOVES Eric Hoffer and quotes True Believers at me a lot I hate it)

Here I am trying to enjoy laughing at sovereign citizen videos with my good chums and the liberal has to start claiming it isn't funny because he thinks these people represent some kind of unified ideology of people who are dangerous

Liberals are ritualistically terrifying themselves every day, it is not healthy

I miss my bearded dragon terribly and I am fully aware that she would have eaten me if I was small enough

Rotting my FUCKING BRAIN listening to Hasan prodding Asmongold into circling around the giant tumor labeled RACISM in his brain. I am so sick of the word "culture" being a convenient way to just be racist without saying "people"

I don't even think Asmongold in the long run is a particularly ideologically firm racist like a Nazi or something, it's just such a bitter thing to witness, like how are you supposed to extricate this fucking mental cyst when it's been in there since he was a child after 9/11, growing veins into the rest of his mind?

Matt Christman high pitch cackling at the realization that Limp Bizkit's "Break Stuff" music video was filmed on top of the twin towers and aired on Sept. 10th 2001

As much as I enjoy the catharsis of imagining confronting people, it's the machinery that must die. But don't worry, for every 5 pipelines that are destroyed or factories leveled, the ecowarriors can kick one CEO's door down as a treat

Me, on the come up of realizing I took like twice as much acid as I meant to, watching a nature documentary and seeing footage of the vast expanses of bleached coral and having my temporarily unified neutral net reckon with the reality that I am seeing the death of beauty: desolate

I already didn't really kill bugs in the house but for like a year after that I didn't even get rid of house spiders in the corners, I'd see their cobwebs and be like "good for you buddy keep living," I was in bad shape

Yeah as it turns out the biggest appeal of art is that it is the product of someone else's inner world, not mine. If I had everything I needed to be fully entertained with no effort right here in my noggin then I would be happy to just daydream all the time and not interact with anyone else.
