I will add it to the next build.

Just out of curiosity, you don't like the new one? I feel like the head is a little too big but any tips for improvements?

Hey, sorry I've been off the grid for the last few month! I made the icon myself. Btw, I just released a new version, with a refined version of the app icon + alternate app icon support :)

Open sourcing is on it's way. TBH, my commits are quite messy and very unprofessional but I could open source it right now. I would just need to arrange/reorganize the files and directories, but that's manageable.

I just started Pokémon Legends: Arceus.

I havn't played a pokemon game for a while, I felt too old for Sun and Moon when I tired to get back to the franchise when they came out. And damn, I just love Arceus.

So with all the new materials, shows, books, comics, all the fan edits out there, everying, canon or not, I am really curious about what's everyone's new way of watching and enjoying the Star Wars universe?

Not at this point. The Kbin API is really different than other lemmy instances’. If I were to add this it would require a stack dedicated to Kbin support, and it’s not on my roadmap for the moment. Maybe when I’m done with all the basic features.

I’ll let you know!

I really like Ice Cubes for mastodon. And for Lemmy I’be been working on my own client for a few weeks now called Gravity, feel free to check it out on TestFlight.

SwiftUI, but there's a few UI things that I'm having a hard time to achieve with it so I might add some UIKit stuff here and there.

Gravity is (yet another) Lemmy client for iOS. I started the development of this app a few weeks ago and thoughts why not releasing it, so there it is. I'm doing this for fun and on my free time.

What's supported in this version:

  • Login (but it's not required, you lurker)
  • Browsing, searching communities
  • Voting on posts and comments
  • Commenting
  • Multiple feed layout
  • Infinite scroll

What's next:

  • Creating posts
  • Deleting and editing comments
  • Filters and blocks
  • Automated Nightlies with change log (git log)

Open sourcing should be comming in the next few weeks. Also, custom app icon will be a thing. The app is currently in english but I am working on translations. I will be releasing French and Spanish and German, when the main features will be working properly.

Please feel free to send any feedback by email or here in this thread. Thanks for testing!

Do we have a scrubs community yet somewhere?

I'm working on mine too (iOS)

Missing a few key features for now, but hopefully, I'll be able to Testflight+OpenSource by the end of next week.

We need to educate users and Reddit people to really understand how Lemmy works, and why it's good. People keep giving the email analogy but that may not be enough. I still see a lot of users asking if they need to have an account on every Lemmy instance. We need to explain simply that :

  • You can sub a community that is not local ;
  • There can be two community that are called the same but on different instance (ie: [email protected] and [email protected]) ;
  • Same is for your username. We should also give tips on how to find an instance that is relevant for you and how to find communities.
