To be fair, many Chinese games don't release on Steam and have their own launcher instead. For example, Genshin Impact and Honkai Star Rail would likely still be near the top of Steam charts, but they never released on Steam.

China has made more than just one popular or high playercount game. Sure their government sucks, but its doing the hard working Chinese developers a disservice to say they only get one achievement because we don't like their countrys government.

Because none of the tax revenue actually goes to paying off debt. There isn't much left after it gets past all the politicians shoveling it into their own pockets.

I had this same issue and it appears that v191 fixed it. Card view now properly displays content, at least on my end.

If you always feel like you are being watched then it doesnt matter what you would do if nobody was watching. Youre going to act the same as you always do, and if that is acting with integrity then that won't change.

Whether a person thinks they are being watched or nor is irrelevant. Either they are or they aren't, and if they think they always are being watched, then it is safe to assume that person has integrity because they always act with integrity whether someone is actually watching them or not.

Good. If the skill is humanly possible, let the human learn it. Otherwise don't allow it. Easy stance to take.

Mexicans. And I don't say that because I am one, we are genuinely hilarious. We always prank each other with the most racist of stuff we can possibly find, call each other such vile yet affectionate nicknames, etc.

Though I suppose it may not be limited to Mexicans only. Maybe just people with a good sense of humor that aren't so sensitive and can take a joke? Dunno.

I didn't skip the Endless Eight Arc on my first watch of Haruhi.

I didn't know what was happening and at first thought I had watched the wrong episode, but when I checked my episode history I understood. It wasn't so bad, and spotting the differences in each episode was interesting.

I am getting kinda sick of constantly not being able to post comments on seemingly random posts due to this error.

The instance is English, the post title is English, and my comment is in English. I have even logged into my instance website to change the language settings to have both "Undetermined" and "English" selected, and that still doesn't work. Not all posts have this problem, and not even posts in just one community or instance. Seems like the error is completely random.

I have to imagine this is an error specific to Connect for Lemmy, since I don't get the same error if I comment from my web browser. It seems to come from Connect for Lemmy not having an option to set the comment language when posting? Can that be corrected please?
