This just in: Ruling class with a long history of constant violence towards the people they're supposed to serve shocked that those people would consider using violence against them in return, after functionally blocking all other avenues for change. Pearls clutched.

Oh, across the broader population you're absolutely correct. In that initial comment, I was referring to the users here on lemmy. Sorry, "we" can be rather ambiguous.

They printed a rebuttal to that in one of the punisher comics.

"Kill two"

Disliking someone less is not the same as liking them.

Whoa, whoa, you think there are politicians that we like?

The cheap toilet paper can be submerged in water for like 48 hours before breaking down. So for many who only buy the cheapest, clogging pipes is a reality. Their own fault, but still.

There are a lot more cats than just the bakaneko.

No account, first time there, clicked the link then one more click to the comic. ::shrugs::

To be fair, that guy was a giant asshole.

I like your strong language rule. But rule 6 is such a vague catch-all that it basically says "the mods will remove anything they don't like, at any time, with no warning"

Which seems kinda fucked.

Nah I'm confused because I did read it. The sidebar for world news says that this is rule 3

Rule 3: Opinions articles, or Articles based on misinformation/propaganda may be removed. Sources that have a Low or Very Low factual reporting rating or MBFC Credibility Rating may be removed.

Which doesn't even make sense to apply to a comment.

And says that this is rule 6

Rule 6: Memes, spam, other low effort posting, reposts, misinformation, advocating violence, off-topic, trolling, offensive, regarding the moderators or meta in content may be removed at any time.

(I was jokingly accusing you of violating rule 6 because the removed comment could maybe be said to violate that one. It's a bit of a stretch but at least plausible.)

So still kinda confused because you quoted a different rule 6.

My apologies, saw the wrong list of rules. My mistake.

Though I never stated or implied that anyone was banned.

Where can the correct rules be viewed? If I look at the rules for this community, the numbers don't line up. And searching for lemmy.world rules doesn't give any useful results.

Looked in the modlog. Doesn't seem like that violated rule 3. ~~Seems like you violated rule 6. Gonna ban yourself?~~

Edit: crossed out the bit where I was wrong, but left it for context
