And because of the little metal piece that would break off and prevent your phone from charging. You could just weasel it out with tweezers but most people would think their port was broken because they didn't know it was even an issue.

I'm with you. Those spring-latch-things on the micro just give up on life and the whole thing becomes useless or tears apart the port you try to plug them into. I say leave them in the past

Yeah I should have put a /s on mine, I don't actually think you were being elitist

The only reason you pronounce the H is because at some point the brits decided dropping the H made you sound low class. So congrats on perpetuating the elitism

It's actually a really nice contract for the Jaguars. His cap hit for this year is smaller than if he played on the option, and they have an out to save a boatload of money in '27-'28 if he doesn't work out. So essentially a 2 year extension all the while bringing down the cap hit for 2024. If Tua gets the same contract with slightly more money in those first few years I'd be happy lol.

I'm not even into futball but that's undeniably cool.

Don't look up Mezzi's bindings... You'll never be the same after.

Unfortunately gerrymandering is a flaw in the democratic process. At least in the US, the Voting Rights Act makes it so political parties cannot redraw districts to decrease the political influence of racial or ethnic groups. It says nothing about other political parties, so whichever party is in power when voting lines need to be redrawn will inevitably try to redraw the lines in their favor. Until that sort of gerrymandering is outlawed, it will continue to happen. The party in power isn't going to make it fair for their competition out of the kindness of their heart.

A non-boring dystopia

Last year it was counterfeit parts in their engines, and a while ago there was a whole scandal where a large percent of commercial planes were operating with fake parts. Obviously the crack down after the first scandal wasn't strong enough to deter them from doing it again. And again.

It's not all about $ per year either. If you look at Lawrence's contract, he's honestly not the biggest cap hit considering him being "the highest paid player of all time."
