I've been out of the loop for a whie, but in godot, dialogic was amazing. Least it was back in 3.5.

Falling for implies it matters to them. They've discovered the weaknesses in the system. The supreme court has goals to take on issues that can't be demonstrated to negatively effect anyone, so in order to get the cases and overturn law they need straw plaintifs to give cases.

IMO set him up with some of the modern engines and tutorials... Godot 4, Unreal etc...

actually if you are looking for some stuff to have ready for him.

If he has access to youtube there's also lots of really good tutorials etc... out there. Heartbeast has some awesome ones for godot etc...

I'd say less that right wing ideology cares about enshitification one way or the other, but what they do care about... is the ability to not be sensored for hate speech. With less mods, and the remaining mods having worse tools.

Right, but the point is, it may very well be that they were difficult to catch without going into harm on the other side (IE in say 9/11's case having the bar set so high that they'd have grounded air traffic for 15 false positives before actually stopping the attack). Likewise say JFK or MLK's assassinations, also probably infeasible, having to widen perimeter or advance security on quite a large distance from where they were traveling and speaking.

In epstiens case though, it seems like a high profile national news level criminal like himself. could have very easily been sent to a much better guarded prison, not taken off suicide watch etc... IE it seems like all the red flags were there that he would have killed himself if he could... and he was left in a situation where doing so was not difficult, and the cost of ensuring he didn't kill himself would have been pretty low. It's one dude that's expected to stay in captivity, on a case that the whole world was watching. Not really that infeasible to have a 24/7 rotation that has one person dedicated to him at all times.

Well I mean the biggest thing that would be the ultimate ideal would be anything that can maximize the ability to bring existing unity projects over to godot. IE minimal refactoring needed.

Big thing is not just getting people to start their new projects, but what about those who have spent 3+ years mastering their game, only to have the rug pulled out from under them when it was 80% of the way to release worthy.

To me I think majority of conspiracy murder... still may have merit, without actually lifting a finger.

IMO I don't think the real question is "did the government establish a hit on JFK, MLK, The twin towers etc...".

but rather, did someone in power get a note saying "this is likely to happen and here's how to prevent it", and it get burried.

Passwords you can remember is a problem if you have multiple sites.

While I love XKCDs HorseBatteryStaplerOkay! strategy... that works well for 4-5 passwords, if you have 20+ passwords you'll pretty much wind up re-using, and if it turns out one of the 20 sites had garbage protection and gets fully hacked, any sites you used the same is also going to be vulnerable.

Personally still gotta say go with keepass or bitwarden (selfhosted if possible).

Umm... pirating windows is your recomended solution?

Look don't get me wrong I could say it's if anything more cost effective for simply the dev's to say "OK anyone who has more than 1 hour of linux play time prior to this date qualifies for a refund".

Of which, most likely is a handful of people so easy work.

Screw privacy sensitivity that's a moot point. Installing windows isn't a minor tweak to a computer .First of all the suggested method is technically breaking the law. Secondly you are talking minimum adding in a windows partition, so an extra 50 GB storage on top of the amount the game takes. Comprimizes to the boot loader on the system, in which there's a high chance of messing up an existing install.

Exactly why IMO more game dev's really need to be looking into godot. After hearing about gamemaker changing their terms, my thought was the writing is on the wall. It's impossible to predict when the terms are going to change. I can't imagine spending hundreds of hours working on a major project without knowing for certain that at the end of the day you know what the rules are going to be on licensing the engine.
