People can like her song (although, it's way more punk if you hate it), she's just never been punk.

Joan Jett has about as much right to comment on what punk is as I do

You carry bean dip in your purse? Wanna be friends?

This is probably the best, most concise comment

This isn't an unpopular opinion, a lot of people feel stressed during the holidays. However, to be fair, what are the stores and ad companies supposed to do? Of course they're going to portray the holidays as a happy time, it would be strange and against their objective if they didn't. Heads would roll at Ye Olde Major Ad Corp!

The first comment on that article when I read it, the guy says he will not tip his delivery driver if there's a delivery fee. I can't believe that after all these years, people still think that a driver is going to see one cent of a delivery fee. I remember Pizza Hut implementing a $1 or $2 delivery fee back in the late 90s, and our tips took a big hit. Back then, I figured that was just a learning curve, and eventually soon people would understand that it is not part of a driver's compensation, but I guess here we are, 25+ years later.

Please don't punish workers for a corporation's greed. A delivery fee is not a tip.

Click on the instance icon on a post, it'll take you to the instance page. Across the top will be several options. Scroll over to "block" and click that. It seems to take effect the next time you open or refresh Lemmee.

Edit: I should add, I have Sync, not Thunder, but it might work in a similar way.

Yes! I've been saying this for many years, but my Apple cult-member friends don't want to believe me. It's gotten better over the years, but Apple used to be so incompatible with everything else, almost like it was done on purpose to force more market share....🤔

Why wouldn't you do a Brazilian at home? I used to do it myself for years, it's totally doable

Your esthetician should be dusting your skin with powder so that it doesn't take any skin off at all

The pandemic definitely pushed companies into finally adopting it, but believe me, it was not a new concept. I remember reading an article 20 yrs ago about Best Buy adopting it, for example, and how it increased productivity and morale, etc. Since then, it's been catching on, I've had plenty of friends that have worked from home since long before the pandemic, it's just that a lot of companies were still afraid of giving their employees that much autonomy.
