Oh shit, so that's what it was...

Amen! I'm tired of these skinnies telling us what to do. Smh.
Using Jerboa at the moment! Not sure about moderation tools, but it feels pretty responsive and the overall layout looks quite nice in the dark theme.
Although it gets a tad confused when I'm logged in in occasion, so it sometimes thinks I'm not?
Still, you can use it without logging in, so it's a pretty good experience that just needs some polishing.
Actually saw this in the "trending communities" section (For some reason lol)
(Don't think it had an icon even)
you like boobs? smh
gonna downvote you, darn boob-lover
(If i'm not wrong, green-ish user here) When you click on "Communities" that'd be only the communities inside the instance that you made your account in.
I generally use this to look for specific communities: https://browse.feddit.de/ It should look across all lemmy instances to find the one you wanted
Jokes aside, it's a bit of a shame, but it's not like he's gone forever, he's just taking a (very well deserved) break. And if i may speak for most if not all of us, we'll be waiting for his return!
I suspect my RSS feed will be oddly empty at jan 1st.
Oh well, back to watching citation needed
That does sounds nice, but on the other hand... i do like free stuff, instead of paying for subscriptions...
That does work to lower the strain in your eyes (coming a person that has had one in their phone for years now) but as far as i know, that is mostly meant to lower the amount of blue light coming from your display, as to not affect your sleep cycle

That's fair, i've had used a few apps for long periods of time with light mode and it is pretty nice, although i'm biased towards dark mode. Maybe it also has to do with the enviroment around you? Since a dark theme while outside in a sunny day would surely put some strain in your eyes?
I mean, that's fair and i mostly agree, but i think it'll stay around (for the better or worse) as regular vr headsets have, with them also being (somewhat less) expensive and not that useful beyond a handful of niches. Although to a lesser extent since it'll be stuck inside apple's ecosystem.
