I just finished the main campaign of The First Descendant on a mix of Gaming PC and Steam Deck. I enjoyed playing it as Free to Play and spent about 50 hours playing through it.

Starting with the good: The game play of shooting and using skills was fun. They story itself was okay, but I still enjoyed it as comfort gaming. I see myself playing it on and off to do whatever story expansions there are for now. I haven't dug to deep into the grind but it seemed okay from my own experience. I'm pretty patient waiting for things and I will probably grind a for few characters when I just want to turn off my brain.

The bad: I am not sure if it is resolved yet, but damn I had so many disconnects at the worst time that I just stopped playing the game for the night and did something else. I feel the movement could be improved, just giving unlimited grappling shots would make it vastly more fun. Even though I played Warframe years ago I remember enjoying the movement much more in that game. The music is kind of forgettable I suppose as well.

Other thoughts, playing this game made me want to just Warframe, but the fact that I first played the game many years after release, and then only for a few months. Jumping back into it seems daunting and I would no doubt be loss. So maybe not.

Late to the party , but I fell off track with games I'm supposed to be playing. I will probably be getting through the story of The First Descendant. Even though it is story light...I am still enjoying it even the game play loop.

Grab your games! What are you playing this month?

Title, platform, etc.

How long do you think it’ll take to beat it? Is it totally new or are you finishing it up?

I would say unless you always want to do troubleshooting for this friend just stick him with windows. At some point it is up to the individual to be able to troubleshoot these issues using the Internet as the resource, but a lot of people just don't want to mess with that. My own time is too limited to be on call for people.

Check out antiperspirant for your feet. The issue might be related to your feet sweating and creating dampness in your shoe your whole shift. Also ideally have two pairs of shoes to alternate for work.

Oldest one I boot up regularly is Super Mario World I would say. On a less frequent occasion I do also play Tecmo's Deception (PS1). I do like going back to Gradius for the SNES as well.

Contra and Contra 2 are fun, but very challenging games I will occasionally bust out.

PC gaming wise I have been playing City of Heroes and Diablo 1.

Yes I have. I switch between older AAA and current indie games. I have tried some recent AAA games as well. I play anything I want at the time I want to play something.

I have a pair of indoor crocs only. It is great on non carpeted floors. Mine are white to make it easy to differentiate from my outdoor crocs.

Thanks for the reply. I see the request has been posted by someone else and has been acknowledged/tagged. I guess it is just waiting for the feature to be implemented now.

Maybe I should branch out with my food choices. It has always been some kind of prepared meat over rice.
