I'm on a local government board. At the beginning of the meeting we all have to state our names and positions for the transcription. It is, by far, the most stressful portion of every meeting.

If you saw a cluster then you saw a new deployment. They become less visible as they raise to their final orbit and change orientation.

The bigger problem is rumblings about how much aluminum dust their disintegration causes when they are deorbited and how much greenhouse effect that could cause. Probably not enough to make a difference but it's. Something to consider and mitigate as much as possible.

Elegant, efficient code? Who needs that shit?

Gerrymandering doesn't apply to statewide races like the electoral college.

However it does affect state legislatures and they're the ones that make election laws.

Just have Harris murder them before they're sworn in and keep double tapping every new one that shows up until the state legislature get the message.

Impeachment is a joke and the scotus said presidents are immune. She can literally do whatever she wants.

/s of course

If my job paid for me to go to Jamaica and had to keep paying me the entire time I was stuck there, that would soften the annoyance quite a lot.

On one hand, yes. On the other hand, it's an expected outcome when moderate Republicans are driven from their party and seek refuge in the next closest party, the dems. The Democrat party will tack right wards a bit for the next few years just because the voters flocking to them now are by nature more conservative. If and when Maga dies or the republican party splinters, those more conservative people will leave the dems and the party will be pulled leftward again by the remaining members.

So it was a coup but Biden immediately endorsed the person that coup'd him for... Reasons?

As ol' Musky might say: "Interesting..."

Not wishing at all. As soon as it happens, they'll outlaw all drones. They won't be covered under the 2nd amendment of course.

I'm just waiting for someone to use one of these for an assassination attempt in a western country. I'm honestly surprised it hasn't happened yet considering Ukraine has shown how effective they are.

Speaking of factorio, it is the example of "If you want your game to have true replay value, the best thing you can do is embrace the modding community".

Factorio made mods first class citizens and reaped the rewards.
