Does Max start ahead of Perez or behind Perez after the penalty is applied?

Most logically is that Max is still ahead. So I'll go with behind Perez, because else it would be too damn clear how bad the situation is.

the meltdown from Horner and Marko will be something worth watching.

Aren't those two divided on which driver their prefer? Also, Horner tried to get rid of Marko, no?

Ocon prefers being faster than his teammates over anything else, so yeah, I'm really wondering how that behaviour and the likely stupid/unneeded incidents reflect on Bearman.

I'm amazed that you think Ricciardo is performing at an equal level as Tsunoda. Then I checked and it seemed for the last 5 races or so Ricciardo finished higher. Quite surprising, I basically wrote Ricciardo off ages ago!

Anyway, Ricciardo had it difficult after not being able to perform in McLaren. Not exactly sure if he's able to handle pressure still. Finishing slightly better than Tsunoda for a few races isn't that impressive to me.

Putting Lawson directly in the Red Bull is probably too much of a risk

Agreed.

Quite curious as to what is going to happen. There's (was?) a power struggle in Red Bull, seems different people there have different drivers as their preference. They seem to be stubborn.

You started this thread with a fallacy...

Uh and what has changed for the muskrat to suddenly grow a smidge of conscious?

It's best to really doubt what Musk says. Likely he's still giving money but using weasel words to pretend he's not because of the fallout.

A lot of that research isn't done by these companies. Further, their marketing budget is often huge, the research budget is often lower than that.

So instead of accepting that the driver should be GPL and part of the kernel, you turn things around and pretend the development of the kernel is the way that it is because of a conspiracy against Nvidia?

The bit regarding Wayland doesn't make sense, no idea what you're getting at. Though maybe you don't follow Linux developments?

Up to now he has been able to get really rich by being this way.

Obviously, the EU hasn't the spine to eject Hungary

There's no way to remove a member. The EU could remove their voting rights, but Hungary used to be helped by Poland.

I wonder how many extra thousands of EU troops

There's no EU army. There's NATO, the EU countries have armies, but there aren't any EU troops.

Wasn't that 15 dollar donation done by someone from a different state and the same name?

Buddy, stop. I'm not here to get into a semantic argument with you. Chill out. This is part of my reply.

If you don't want replies, why reply yourself?

And I responded to that part. You say that he's a leader. Without saying why.

You haven't explained yourself, then you continue to not explain yourself. You mention you don't want to get into semantics, then quote something you said before. Meaning, you don't want a discussion, and then by qouting it's you who continues discussing.

Up to now I've explained why a driver isn't automatically a leader. But I haven't seen any explanation of your reasoning. It comes over as assertions.

Anyway, take Lewis. He used to lead the team. That doesn't mean that any driver is a leader. Nor that Lewis always leads or is always a leader. Mercedes completely ignored his input about the drivability of the car for multiple years. In a recent podcast Mercedes mentioned that overlooked something about their car for multiple years. In all of those years they've been ignoring Lewis.

Max isn't automatically a leader, same for Lewis.

Or in another way, that an apple is a fruit doesn't imply that all fruits are apples.

Of course he's leader within the team.

You haven't explained why you say he is the leader. He advocated for changes for ages. He has influence, that's not the same as being a leader.

In commentary they often say that the driver is leading the team. But that doesn't mean that drivers are leaders, nor that a commentary reflects what role and abilities a driver has within a team.
