Yeah in rural Ohio they want a carpet bagger that’s on their side not some genuine person who just wants what’s best for everyone

Ok but can we make fun of the fact that they aren’t required to specify which material? Like let me decide if it carcinogenic enough

Generally it isn’t. The term comes from a meme that involved a gif of an actual trans woman (Bailey Jay)

And also, sometimes you get too into your hobbies. If it was the key to his wood shop or his fishing pole it’d be some relatable joke to boomers. Whether it’s that you just got really sucked into a current project/game or you’re struggling and overdoing it with a healthy coping mechanism (I know when I’m burning out my wife has to remind me to take us time or I will be on my bicycle from the time I get home until it’s too dark to bike). This shit happens sometimes.

It’s a slow slide into that nastiness for them. And the entire time the only thing they’re really concerned about is themselves. They’re pathetic losers

Yeah it’s one of the elements of the authoritarian personality, and it’s fucking weird. It’s weird like someone in the bushes outside your bedroom.

Exactly, we all get a little too into something from time to time. The fact that his was video games from the 90s is both charming and a reminder that he’s not 80. Also it’s the sort of marital conflict that you see in healthy and happy marriages as opposed to the kind you expect to see in politicians’ marriages

Well he not only isn’t a college graduate he’s also in his 30s. He was supposed to be targeting people who are now 30 year old taxpayers and instead targeted our grandparents. And yet they still seem to treat him like he has appeal to college students.

I remember those days. The era of “wait you really should be embarrassed by this, why are you not embarrassed by how you’re acting?”

I agree but it’s also an important thing to remember when asking sensical questions. Something that responds nonsense to nonsense means it’s prioritizing an answer that sounds right over an answer that is right.

Yeah, Nixon got the presidency for it when it should’ve gotten him the rope. I don’t think trump will get either out of this

Yeah if I have to choose between two evils I’m going to always take the one that is lesser and open to criticism over the one who revels in their evil

But I’ve been getting this error:

[supervisor.docker.interface] Can't install ghcr.io/home-assistant/generic-x86-64-homeassistant:2024.4.4: 500 Server Error for http+docker://localhost/v1.44/images/create?tag=2024.4.4&fromImage=ghcr.io%2Fhome-assistant%2Fgeneric-x86-64-homeassistant&platform=linux%2Famd64: Internal Server Error ("Get "https://ghcr.io/v2/": net/http: request canceled while waiting for connection (Client.Timeout exceeded while awaiting headers)") [supervisor.homeassistant.core] Error on Home Assistant installation. Retrying in 30sec

I’ve tried changing DNS, but it didn’t help and I seem to get no other helpful results from searching. If anyone has any suggestions I’d appreciate it as this seems to be something my home could benefit from but it’s just not loading beyond the CLI
