So they have these cool machines that repair disks and if you can find a computer and videogame repair store you might be able to rent them for cheap

IMO garage sales and thrift stores will get you most of what you want. You'll find stuff like the entire series of the Office for $2 per season or all the Starwars movies for $10 or some classic Western for $1. Cheaper than streaming and it's yours. Pay cash and help your local economy out. And if you want some new, then spend the $30 for it or rent it from the library (most city libraries will have a large DVD, CD and audio book collection)

Such a bummer, a good chunk of users are catfish or bots and the platforms are also exploiting users. I'm not surprised, just kinda bored with the internet in general

Understandable, quite the bummer

I'd argue that it shows how even international businesses don't understand basic monetary and macro economic concepts. Its existence should be a reminder to you that your fiat currency is losing value every moment you hold it. 2% year over year is the US Fed's target, and what is in the basket has changed many times

Hmmm good to know. Thanks!

Why do the lower classes need to continue sacrificing? What's brand new jets to new poor person ratio for the climate?

Yeah, whoever is benefiting from those changes is probably counting on it

That's why education and reading books that disagree with your life, culture and understanding can be very beneficial

Yeah I don't get why solar punks hate on crypto? Do they like the wastefulness of fiat? Do they understand how much non renewables are used to process a single credit card payment? Or do they have a better form of money?

Crypto could be solar punk, just requires people to use... Solar power... Or am I missing something?

Go back to school, easier to make friends if you're all stuck in a room together
