I guess the thing to remember is, days don't actually matter.

If you spend 100 years to do anything, that's okay. It really just has the most feature set of all the farming games.

I guess that makes some sort of sense. If someone wants the dry stuff they can go to a news site, but the meme stuff spreads better.

But man it is WEIRD/Disconcerting to see so much combat footage turned into like music videos.

I've gotten Covid twice. Once early pandemic, and once when vaccinated.

I do not want to get covid without the vaccine again. 0/10, would not recommend.

Sometimes songs don't have deep stories, are nonsense, or are just straight forward.

My head cannon (that is not true at all) is that "Cupid Stranglehold" and "According to You" involve the same people.

"According to you I'm stupid, I'm useless I can't do anything right According to you I'm difficult, hard to please Forever changing my mind I'm a mess in a dress Can't show up on time Even if it would save my life According to you, according to you"

So in my head the above verse is about the guy in the below verse.

"Take a look at my girlfriend She's the only one I got (ba ba da da) Not much of a girlfriend I never seem to get a lot (ba ba da da, ba ba da da)"

Then this below verse:

Are these songs at all related? No of course not. Was any real thought put into Cupid Chokehold? No, not at all. They made it one day when they were bored and the "not much of a girl friend" part is just sampled for the beat.

But in my head, the "According to him" guy, just can't help but gush about how lucky he is to his parents.

Oh man that would be sick!...

I do have a spare tiled room in my basement... maybe one day as that would be awesome! No more escaping for them (unless they escape the room some how, which I know they will try.)

Yeah they're so smart! I know some are considered to be as smart as a 5 year old.

So they deserve all the love and enrichment of a 5 year old, which would mean a variety of food, new toys, lots of exercise, and lots of interaction.

I never had one but I still feel bad for all the birds that just end up in a cage for 70% of their lives because they are so smart.

Not really adding anything, just agreeing with you whole heartedly.

I own red eared slider turtles, while not exactly exotic it's funny that the three things they are known for by owners are things normal folks would not expect.

  1. Turtles are escape artists. Because they need so much water to swim in and need basking areas, you'll generally want to fill your tank up as high as you can, and then have a basking platform up there. They will use those and filters to try to escape. They may succeed. There are a ton of questions/guides online to address this https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QHbV5nsDCb8&ab_channel=TheTurtleGirl
  2. They are destructive. You will want to have a filter for them, and they will attack the filter with the fury of a bored creature attacking the thing making a noise.   3. They smell. How can such a small creature smell so powerfully? Magic.

I mean... how many calories are in that big thing of salad mix? A few hundred probably. Compared to 1500 calories in a pound of ground beef.

Most fruits/veggies are pretty bad at giving calories. Even the mighty potato is only 400ish calories for a pound .

Grain/beans trounce meat in terms of energy per dollar spent, but I think that's why it's become so common to do grain/beans + meat. Meat is way more calorie/cost efficient than veggies, so it's the perfect way to modify your grains/beans to be tastier and more filling.

So yeah, pushing that money to make it so that veggies are cheaper per calorie than meat would be super nice. So super agree on in door farming, I hope we get more of that.

Hopefully you understand why I was a little suspicious!

But I tried it out, and holy moly it feels like a different era. My brain can't compute the fact that I just got a free to play game (Just have the demo, which honestly sounds like a ton of game) and it's not trying to sell me anything in game? The tutorial was all about game play in universe, and never once told me about premium currency? My ui doesn't have 5 different things? Crafting doesn't involve long cool downs that I can 5 gems to speed up?

Like it feels like a different era of game, thank you for being persistent! I've only played a couple hours, but so far it feels like it's going to become a comfort game at the very least.

I miss playing MMO's, but micro transactions ruin any sense of progression for me.

Any mmo's out there that fit the bill?

Cosmetics are fine, as long as you can't just turn around and sell said cosmetics in game.

I'm personally excited to play tomorrow, which is a villain campaign and I play as a psychotic kobold that is trying to impress a red dragon he has a crush on by burning enough things!
