Not going to disagree with the tough world out there, I'm just going to suggest / ask a few things that are at least somewhat in your realm of control that might help.

  • If you are willing to divulge this information - how much are you making at your current job, how much do you pay for rent and what are your expenses?
  • Do you have any family members or friends you can reach out for support?
  • What does the cost of living look like in your area? Any other options?

Fact: 100% of all people who consume the chemical compound Dihydrogen Monoxide eventually die. #HydrationHalt #DitchTheDrink #StayDryDontDie #MADH2O

So... I guess she is a smart woman after all?

OTOH I hope OP is at least pretty.

And who was paying her 24 hr / day before Richard Gere's character came along?

I do think it's a useful distinction considering open models can be more than 100B+ nowdays and GPT4 is rumored to be 1.7T params. Plus this class of models are far more likely to be on-device.

No phones can run "LLMs" currently because by definition, large.

Some Android phones however can and does run smaller models locally. Gemini Nano runs on Pixel 8 and can run on Samsung phones.

It's not a LLM, it's a much smaller model (~3B) which is closer to what Microsoft labels as a SLM (Small Language Models, e.g. MS Phi-3 Mini).

It's server-based so you need to be online to play. However you can pretty much play it solo without interacting with other players (which is how I generally play it, save the occasional events and challenges).

They've added significant amount of content post-launch which includes new locations, NPCs, missions etc so it's not too bad, although I would say NPCs aren't as well put together as other Fallout games.

Friends don't let friends buy ASUS unless the purchasing friend enjoys months of customer support or RMA nightmare.

ASUS is terrible not because they make bad products (in fact many of them are good), they are terrible because of their horrendous support.

There is no shortage of customer service horror stories because of this company. I would not give them money.

Great that ASUS is helping handheld PC gaming advance but from a consumer perspective, I cannot in good conscience recommend anyone buying ASUS products.

Their customer service is legendary for being abysmal and for something like the Ally you need good support.

I'm in the same boat but having a blast with FO76. I'm glad I waited since the rocky launch back in 2018 - while the game is still far from perfect, it's a lot of fun to play and Bethesda did a good job fixing up the game.
