Climate change will not cause human extinction. Even the worst predictions aren't close to extinction level. There's 8 billion of us and we have technology.
Climate change will cause bad shit to happen. It already has. But bad shit is not the same as extinction.

I sometimes feel that way, yeah. The problem with democracy is the sheer quantity of idiots.
Yeah, a good part of that was because I stayed out of the right-wing cesspits, while taking far too long to leave the left-wing ones, so most of the cess I got was left cess.
The only exception was PCM (joined when it was merely right-leaning and not particularly PC, rather than the outright hive of scum and villainy it became), and there, it was far from progressive.
I'm pretty sure that's what they mean.
