Zealots following Bronze Age religions. We have the same fucking problem here in the US

This would happen in most southern states (GA resident here). There is almost no decent/real mental health resources here.

They were both FAR from being upright citizens (what do you expect from a family that made their money illegally?), but they weren’t outright insane.
