Has or had, not sure, it wasn't bugless anyway.

I see, I think MIUI has its own feature, but it isn't like a standalone app anyway.

What's wrong with root?

Is the first thing I do after installing any custom ROM.

I'd get the Switch, you have a huge backlog after all.

Huh? This only opens my Pluto TV app.

The thing is that, I don't know how but Sync handles the RAM better, so it doesn't reload as frequently as any other app, which lends to less battery consumption.

Yeah, for now I am using the chrome://flags method, but I am on my way to check if I finally got back to FF since many years ago.

So far I have only seen settings regarding this in the Lemmy web section about post sorts but not the default feed or comment sort, am I missing the settings or is this not possible yet?

I use Safari with Adguard and Chrome with Ublock on macOS and Chrome on Android with AdAway root version, and they work pretty fine for blocking ads, but these videos especially in news sites always autoplay and annoy me a bit, I think they have the same effect as the ads in annoyance level for me.

Do you know of some extensions or workarounds to get rid of them for good?

The movie is already available in the private tracker Lat-Team which focuses mostly on Latin Spanish media, but has a wide support for dual audio stuff with English as well.

This is the discord link if you wanna join us :)

I swear I'm not trying to promote Reddit, I'm a refugee as many of us here, I just saw this video linked on r/Save3rdPartyApps and it amaze me that many people used Reddit for niche stuff.

So far Lemmy has been great for me, it really scratches the Reddit itch, using Thunder, Voyager, Jerboa and Connect for Lemmy has been a godsend for this site to me (yeah I cycle them all lol) but it is hard for me finding "less popular content".

I know we are not supposed to lurk to keep improving this site it is hard to stop lurking ngl, I am trying to be more active as many of us do.

Some weeks ago Lemmy wasn't even a shadow of what it is today, but I wonder if it is gonna get as big to cover those niches that people like.

From time to time I get linked to my already subscribed communities (from c/all for example) and I just noticed that when I go to such a community it will give me the option to subscribe, but I'm already subscribed if I hit subscribe no weird issues will occur, I will only get a bottom popup saying that I subscribed successfully, doesn't seem to affect my usage, is it a common bug?

I currently use a Droplet from DigitalOcean which gives me 1 gb of RAM, 25 gb of storage and a bandwidth limit of 1 TB which is priced at 6 dollars per month, I think this might be a good offer, but I also think I'm overpaying because the only thing that I use from that is Wireguard to get around CGNAT at my home (which I could already do with Zerotier or Tailscale, so I don't always use it).

I do have a couple of docker containers as well, but the most important one being Pi-Hole is only used along with WG, I also expose some services to the internet, like Overseerr, Plex (only to 1 user) and most recently this, https://wefwef.app/posts/lemmy.world/all

Keeping within what DO already offers me would be nice, especially the bandwidth, which I some months got past of it because I opened the torrent port to seed more... I stopped when a DO letter arrived which is amusing because my country could not care less about torrenting. 🤣

I tried to go with the cheapest option ever (free) oracle cloud, but they never accepted any of my credit or debit cards nor they cared about it lol.

I don't think I'm a power user by any means, so please, if you have a better offer do tell, or maybe that price is fair for my usage?

EDIT: forgot to add that a public IPv4 address is a must, because you know, the CGNAT.

Ok, I wasn't sure to post this because I thought I'd look like a troll user but anyway.

I have been using this app recently and I'm amazed how well this works, I think it pretty much beats any Lemmy app for Android (the device I own) at the moment in design and stability (which is understandable since most of them are in alpha state).

I'm asking this because one of the reasons to have it as an Android app is that it could benefit from material UI and Monet icon (I really like those features) and many many other stuff (because I know not everyone is fan of those features).

What do you think? I'd personally love to see this as an Android or iOS app.

Or this feature is not ready yet?

For me it would be:

  • Monet icon and Material UI design.
  • Mark read post while scrolling.
  • A button to hide such read posts.

I know there are more critical functions which most of the apps are lacking like going straight to the comment from a reply, it wasn't a big deal before because there were not many comments, but now it is becoming harder to find the context!

So far only Jerboa and Thunder qualifies the first "needs" for me!

Please share yours!
