Well he is overweight and never shown prowling...even hates the cutest cat (kitten?) though now that I google I see Nermal was male, huh. So maybe? I always thought Nermal was female from the cartoon, but young voices and all.

How do you find which one you want with 150 open? Genuinely curious is all, I'm old and mostly use PC and can type quick enough to find what I want if I know which site (wikis for games and such). If I had to scroll through 150 tabs I'd spend half the time looking through a list so wonder how it helps to have that many open. Or maybe I just don't read fast enough to scroll well.

He does say he only checks via prescient, in the book's time, to make sure they're still on the golden path so he can get surprised. That is one of my favourite bits as well, he sort of gapped out for a moment. Then later we get introduced to him talking about wool gathering when Moneo's mind wanders, that just made me ponder if that phrase was because he kept thinking about his surprise earlier in the story due to his own wool gathering. If I recall that phrase came up a few times in the series but I can't remember if earlier or later books.

Also if you think about it, never being surprised and living thousands of years would be quite boring and humanizes him in a way that most people would not think of since he's the worm.

Hope you're enjoying it, it's my favourite of the series but I enjoy the philosophy pondering in that book. I can see why it's not for many readers though, and if Dune was hard to film I couldn't imagine trying to do that book without voiceovers of Leeto for more runtime than most studios and viewers would like.

Everyone knows he lies like most people breath anyways. His only position is whatever gets people to cheer and clap for him so he gets his narcissistic fix, or the last person to talk to him that stroked his ego the right way. The people who will actually to do stuff in his administration definitely want 2025, and that's what matters. I'm only a neighbor of the US but a country that implements 2025 is a scary one to be next to.

You all just escaped death, running around in dangerous areas you could die (and be brought back to life heh) at any second. Yeah that group is getting frisky if possible, then see where things go later, if you both make it. I haven't made it to act 3 myself so wasn't even aware of those romance options got fleshed out.

I thought it had to be a joke article from the title. Yeesh wouldn't want to be the person who gets the fallout from this idea.

You know what I'm saying?

I got minimal more to add (okay had more than I expected) except that's such a power tripping cop, like let's attack people who help kids expand their horizons. To be fair I'm extremely pro library, even had a chance to work in one for a summer yay small towns. Had to read to pass time in the long before internet era (well not much before really) with limited video games available.

Anyways libraries and librarians rock and don't need to be targeted for offering kids (or anyone) a way to explore a world or think in a new way.

It could be but if a candidate is that disasterous to being voted in then I'm sure they'd have heard about that candidate too. In the long run it'd probably have people more informed before they vote since they'll have to do it.

That's simple, you take a dash of hypocrisy, a gallon of ignorance in your religion and top it off with just enough cognitive dissonance so you don't bleed out your ears when you think about it...blam one Christian fascist ready to go.

I noticed another comment that mentioned he had been working for a few departments over the years, so probably he just did too much finally. Mean don't get me wrong I'm happy an officer is being charged for crimes committed but I'm guessing there're reasons he has a longer work history and probably shouldn't have been hired multiple times in the past. Again this was off a comment so maybe the information isn't accurate but when it's so easy to believe is a pretty bad situation of police officers in general.

Oddly that was a movie that came to mind but I hadn't read any of the comics to know if it did it justice, just recall enjoying it as a teen.
