I don't want to spend time trying to get games working. Either they work right away or I return them. I play older games that are well tested anyway.

Basically I am using Bottles so I don't have to care.

Not nearly as bad a Xorg. Web browsers are battle tested and have many layers of protection. There are periodic CVEs found but they get patched quickly.

That's not the case for Xorg. A lit of it was written before security was even a concern. There are tons of security problems and all of them lead to root access.

Lutris doesn't have a Windows version so I can't run it in bottles.

I'm not running Bottles under Windows. I'm running it on Linux and the environment it creates runs Windows software. I don't want the headache of tweaking it so I want everything to just work in inside the wine prefix created by Bottles.

I created a new prefix a while back and when I installed GOG everything just worked. I'm looking for a Windows game launcher that can replace GOG running in bottles.

I've never tried multiplayer but GOG Galaxy works under Bottles (Proton)

Distributed systems have come a long way. It would be possible

I can download them from GOG. How do I use the data?

Then who is behind it? The original people are in prison

Keep in mind it could be a honey pot. When using Tor make sure you turn off JavaScript.

I wish that the Internet Archive would focus on allowing the public to store data. Distribute the network over the world.

Part of my email which I sent to the department (nearly 200 people, including the VP) said "...and then we can overcome our obstacles", but for some reason I wrote it "and then we can overcome our testicles". This just happened. I have no idea what to do now. Please help!

Just install this and then map the buttons on your controller to keys and mouse inputs.

Any smart homes or large community networks?

Luanti is a free software game platform with a focus on community games and mods. It was originally called Minetest but the name changed as of a few weeks ago.

This is a community dedicated to the Luanti Voxel engine. Luanti supports tons of games and mods and has a vibrant community.

I am looking to replace the debug keys with custom keys in order to relock the boot loader. Has anyone done this? What do I need to do?

Recently Microsoft released the link 365 which is basically a thin client for Azure. You can't run anything locally nor is there any local files. It literally just connects you to a desktop elsewhere.

Do you think this is what Windows 12 might look like? I feel like this idea is not practical for average consumers. Maybe they will make something that's like Chrome OS?

If you look at CVEs in Android a lot of them are tied to proprietary Qualcomm binaries. Its crazy how your GPU driver can be exploited to get root access.

If Qualcomm wasn't so dependent on their vendor kernel that ships with tons of binary blobs it would be lot more secure.
