I hope it's a regular steamdeck with a screen upgrade and a bigger battery. I'd be happy with just that.

I wouldn't call it a scam, because you're getting what you pay for. I would however call it a bad deal. This will now cost too much for what is essentially a glorified rental service.

That's wise, PS Cloud sucks.

But now I'm not so sure what the target audience is. Is it just for those that still wanna play on their PS5 while their SO watches Netflix? I don't get it. It sounds super niche.

It's already out and the reviews on Steam are NOT good, not good at all. The general consensus is that this game is actually a 4 hour long glorified tech demo that's so unoptimized that you can't even reach 60 fps on a 4090. Some even hesitate to call it a game. Yeah, I think I'll stay away from this one.
