Is that why they use tú for God?

Sidenote: I hate when people refer to women by their first names and men by their lasts. Would it be so difficult to call it the Harris campaign?

That's a compliment for sure!

What a glorious description.

Yes. It's like the male version of cleavage.

Wow, that's really impressive! And they're not being paid by Apple either...

I thought there would be lots of Linux distros designed for SoCs since they're somewhat common for laptops.

Huh, I thought it was ARM enough to work with existing other distros, but I guess not. I learned something new today, thanks!

Congrats. May I ask why you choose to go Fedora rather than another Debian derivative?

I do hope crossposting is allowed. The sidebar didn't specify.

Hope your day is going well!

I haven't drawn in this loose style very much before, but my friend inspired me to try. She said she draws basic shapes (triangles, squares) and then does shading, rather than drawing specific things like body parts. I did much more scribbling.

What do you think? Anything you like or dislike about my drawings? I'd love to hear :D

Is anyone else getting reports that Voyager is crashing frequently? I'm using Voyager version 1.27.0 on my Android phone, and I'm using the native app, not the PWA.

This issue has persisted for about a week now, even after several reboots. I have also tried clearing the application cache, with no results.

I free-handed a bee and some honeycombs on some jeans with the last of my yellow embroidery floss, and I'm pretty happy with how it turned out.

I'm not a professional, and I certainly don't do things the way you're "supposed to" (planning things out, sketching them with water-soluble ink/chalk), but I had fun making this and I'm excited to wear it :D

One thing I learned is that denim requires a thicker needle and not necessarily a sharper tinier one. I was using a thinner one previously and it kept getting stuck between threads and bending when I tried to pull it through. It's way easier with a small embroidery hoop and a big needle!

Does anyone know of any privacy-oriented voicemail clients for Android that transcribe messages?

(If this isn't the best place to post this, please let me know!)

I like watching bestdressed and I think I like her style, but sometimes she says something is "vintage". Similarly, Nicole Rafiee sometimes mentions vintage home decor items (not fashion, but still). And I can't identify what is so vintage about these things.

What do you consider to be "vintage" women's clothing? If you're going to say "It depends", then what does it depend on?

Is there a setting to remove haptic feedback (vibration upon voting and probably some other less common actions I'm forgetting)?

For context I'm using the Chrome PWA on Android.

I have downloaded the Voyager PWA from one browser (Chrome), but I want links I click in the PWA to open in another browser (Firefox Nightly).

Currently, links I click in the PWA open in-app, preventing me from easily switching between the Lemmy context of the link and the website itself. Is there a way to set it to open in another browser rather than within the same app?

Is anyone else obsessed with how well the songs in Turn Off The Light and Slut Pop blend in to each other? Seamless transitions like between "There Will Be Blood" and "Bloody Valentine" on Turn Off The Light remind me of albums like Hamilton. It's like there's a coherent story I can follow while driving home or drawing, and it makes me so happy.

I'd like to be able to hide pinned posts because, for instance, my home instance lemm.ee includes four or five pinned posts that I have to scroll past every time I refresh the home page (which I do pretty often because I like sorting by new rather than active/hot; reminds me of how Instagram used to be several years ago).

(Thanks for making Liftoff! This is my first post here, please do tell me if there's anything I'm doing wrong.)

EDIT: Sorry, it's all good! I just didn't understand that some pinned posts really are new. It's time to go to sleep for me. Going to delete this. Sorry if you wasted your time reading this!
