Yeah, its not enough on its own. My assessment was a lot longer than just this one activity. I gave her a short answer which was people at a beach, as others have commented I think they look for an application of narrative, or absence of, in this particular test

if it was actually sunrise on summer solstice at Stonehenge, there would have probably been people in the pictures

Haha I actually said this to the person ๐Ÿ˜… I dated a girl who used to go to the party their to get fucked on shrooms and recharge her rocks ๐Ÿ˜‚

Haha, you might be right. But the 'correct' nt answer is vacation, but there was no proof the people were there on holiday

Lol. Going through a similar thing. Socialising too much can make me run down too. It sounds like youre also a bit unwell though, which is something that is more likely to happen when youre over extending.

Nights have just started getting longer here and days colder, so im feeling down which could be the light, and a little sick which could be the cold, but I also have to keep reminding myself I am on this training course on wednesdays which isnt training per se but a group of 35 of us having structured discussions about topics in our fields for 8 hours under the guidance of a 'coach', who really teaches us nothing at all - we are teaching each other which is a trend in my field at the moment and it irks the hell out of me. Participation is expected and I need to keep imagining what optimistic dribble my sunny, positive boss would say in this situation and then say it myself in order to look like im engaging and not give myself away as nuerodivergent and a bit cynical ๐Ÿ˜†

Its good youre aware of it possibly being due to your autism, make sure you rest up. My course is until february, its only one day a week but its right in the middle of the week and it really leaves me feeling shit, exhausted and a bit stressed, so im not punishing myself for feeling like I need to withdraw from other social activities for a little while to recover.

Thats helpful to know, thanks. I was going to use a flirc case inside a magic mirror but I wont do that now ๐Ÿ˜…

[โ€“] retrolasered 3 points 2 months ago (2 children)

OSMand+ is fekking amazing, im using the brouter and cycloroute plugins for cycling and I have zero complaints there. However, it often falls short on routing public transport for me in the London suburb and I often have to use magicearth to get any route at all. I dont mind using two apps in different circumstances, however it would be nice..

Anyone know how to yield better results for London PT by way of either settings tweaks or plugins?

Got to take my ladyfriend on an overnight trip at the weekend. It just so happened that the campsite we had booked sat a little before the halfway point on an overnight bike packing trail that I had bookmarked for a later date - links below for anyone that might be interested. We got a late start saturday, so we arrived in the dark with just enough time to get to pitch and do a shop run before a bbq and drinks next to a campfire. We didnt rush the next day, left a little before noon and made the most of the sites en route. Some bird watching and a pub lunch put us a bit behind schedule with the shorter days so we had to cut out the main loop in Epping Forest by Loughton, but we will go back for a day trip to finish that part of the ride. A really enjoyable route for anyone looking for a 2 day excursion from london, largely off road so better suited for a gravel bike but some hybrid tyres should get you round if you dont mind a slower ride.

Why March? I live in London and will be getting the Caledonian sleeper train up to inverness. Tickets are drastically cheaper in March than April. And im also hoping I might get to catch a glimpse of the northern lights on the orkney islands. Ive already decided to delay the trip, so I could put some extra money aside for a more expensive ticket. Maybe someone with experience of the region can give me some advice?

Went there for a week last week. My first time. Very nostalgic, the trains are old undergound trains, they have retired TFL buses in service in Newport, the police wear the old bobby hats that ive not seen in London for years.

Didnt start well, a storm stopped me halfway from london to portsmouth, the first day here I dedicated as a rest day as I get problems with my knee when I overdo it. It was a beatiful day which made me optimistic for the week, but there were storms eveyday. I did my planned rides anyway. My running shoes got sodden wet but I had fun regardless. Got a dry day today, so did the main north-south trail, started in my flip flops stopped at blacks to get a dry pair of waterproof hiking shoes on clearance. Got to a closed path, asked a cyclist coming the other way if id make it through, he said yes just keep your feet up. I did, my bike stopped in the middle, had to peddle out with these shoes I had only worn for an hour under the water. Wet weather touring is .. a challenge, but still enjoyable. Going home tomorrow, if it is raining I am getting the train back from portsmouth, ive had enough water for this week.

Booked a week off work and I will be spending it cycling around the isle oi wight. We have the worst possible weather forecasted but ive booked the ferry and the first two nights tent pitch, so just going to go brave the storm (a literal storm) and enjoy being in a new place.

I watched Strange Days last night on a whim. Mid 90s, so can be a little too MTV at times, but not overbearingly so. Once it hit its stride I really started to enjoy it. I'd recommend.

From wikipedia:

A major box-office bomb, Strange Days nearly derailed Bigelow's career, making little more than a sixth of its $42 million production budget ... Nevertheless, the film's critical standing has improved over the years, with many fans feeling that the film has been overlooked by a casual mass audience and misguided critics.

What the title says. I have mastodon and pixelfed, while it is nice to see posts from both services in network feed, im not interested as much in the mastodon posts. Its not a dealbreaker, but would be nice if i can switch off the mastodon posts. I dont know if it matters, but im using pixelfed.de instance.

Now im hungover as f**k and i have to ride back ๐Ÿ˜ญ

My second tour. Tent is staying at home for this one, i have a cabin on the ferry and a hotel in 'dam. Plenty of space in the pannier for ahem, "souvenirs"
